Always a pleasure! What a sublime venue, top notch in every way. Friendly, intimate, relaxed, quality, true hospitality. Enjoyed the indulgent breakfast with so much choice and plenty of beautiful Welsh ingredients served in breathtaking surroundings. Following that just relaxed and let the World pass by for a few hours. Perfect. Thank you Llangoed

Lovely hotel, very attentive staff. The food was exceptional although the portions were just a little on the small side for my husband. We had a suite, very spacious and well equipped. Sherry in the room. Comfortable beds and an array of toiletries. The grounds are breathtaking and not to be missed. Just in case you're not prepared their are wellies to borrow! There is also a helipad if you want to arrive in style. Will definitely be visiting again.

A very unpleasant experience. Would NOT come back and recommend it to family and friends, especially people with fur pals. Be aware, pets are not welcomed in main building, unless you pay £120 per animal or next day’s room fee to cover their one night lost for cleaning charge. It is definitely not free of charge as it is stated on Booking, or they ought to be left in a kennel outside building, no charge. Poor management, short of staffs. Same people are at reception, at gate and in the restaurant, they looked tired. Therefore most of the time standard of service it advocated could not be delivered. Management level is on the opposite side to friendly. When certain circumstances happened, customers are blamed, Website is blamed, but no sign of self examination shown. In summery, a 4 stars layout hotel, expect 5 stars customer with lower 3 stars service, asking over 4 stars price. By the end we paid a 5 stars night with no enjoy, instead we could have a lovely evening in a cosy place knowing what we were going to pay before we arrived not over charged at check out point.

Great location for a quiet lunch - especially mid-week. The food is excellent, and the staff could not be more helpful and attentive.
