Was very glad to be welcomed into this friendly pub after a massive day of hiking. Some brilliant local beers on draft. Have a go of the Nightjar stout. We had an awesome steak pie and pulled beef from the specials board. Food portions are big and quality is excellent. Lower bar is dog friendly and both entrances have a place to clean your muddy boots. Highly recommend this lovely pub.
Friendly, relaxed, comfy, great portions of food and was that IRON MAIDEN on in the background quietly? Other bands were played. we all had a lovely family lunch. If you want a n easy pub lunch in Malvern you can’t go wrong here. Enjoy.
Fantastic pub. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the choice and quality of real ales is excellent and despite not having any myself, the food looked great. The view from the beer garden is amazing and it's right next to the malvern hills footpaths. It's also dog friendly and they do doggy ice cream which was perfect as my dog was hot and tired after a long walk.
Great food and service. Big portions yet beautifully presented. Perfectly located for a leisurely lunch after walking up the Malverns at Beacon Road.
An old-fashioned, no-nonsense and fairly basic pub, with great views. Ideally located for walkers on the Malvern Hills. I've only eaten here once, at lunchtime, and the food was unpretentious and fairly undemanding. In summary, the Wyche is a traditional town pub, albeit some way out of town, in a great location.
Such a friendly pub. Perfect for a stop off on the walk across the Malvern hills and a great selection of beers. Dog friendly and it was so nice to have a Logan with the members of staff. Please stop off here and spend a few pounds as it’s pub like these that deserve to be busy.
We came in as a group of 8, planning to get food and some drinks after walking on the Malvern hills. From the get go the staff were pretty rude, but we were hungry so we sat down and two of us ordered drinks while everyone was reading the menu. When the waitress brought us the drinks, she demanded that we must all order something otherwise we cannot stay in the pub because we are taking up space bearing in mind the pub was mostly empty. We felt so uninvited that we decided we didn't want to eat in this atmosphere anymore, so we drank our drinks and left. On the way out the cook made a sarcastic comment: "thank you for supporting the pub by spending money". I didn't say it to her when walking out, but I hope that she realizes that if they had been a bit more welcoming and kind, we would have easily spent over £200 there. Shame about this, it used to be a friendly pub. Hopefully the staff can learn from this.
Main meal was nice, but chocolate trifle was gorgeous. We think it was very expensive for what we had. But the staff were so friendly and service was brilliant.
Lovely pub and staff. Sensational food, best I've had in many years. And a good pint too. Highly recommended.
Met by lovely and welcoming hosts. We had a very muddy dog, but they were very happy to have us. Had the steak. Presentation and taste was excellent.
