Great traditional pub, with a reasonable selection of traditional ales and a few snacks cobs etc which come in handy after a long walk over the hills. It's a great location and is currently aiming for a community buyout which would be great if it succeeded.
Loved it haven't been for ages and it's much improved garden is tidy and the pub looking brighter and cleaner.

A wonderful community run pub that should be visited by anyone in the area. An excellent range of well kept cask conditioned ales are served. Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing pub with an incredible view. The atmosphere was so lovely and wonderfully local yet welcoming. Landlord was a legend and really heart warming. Thanks. Will definitely be back to try food; we were here on day 1 of beer gardens only post lockdown drinks. Have to come back!

We popped in for a couple of drinks on a nice sunny bank holiday weekend. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the views were amazing. We will definitely be coming back

The Sunday roast dinner was delicious and very generous. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is scrumptious and it is generally a nice place to come to, especially if curled up by the log fire.
Fantastic pub recently bought by the local community. A real gem.
