Who knew a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Rochester! Found it while looking for something to do while visiting friends and it was within a couple of miles of their home so we drove over. It's in a beautiful neighborhood with many other magnificent homes. On the FLW website it states that this home was restored over a 2 year period of time and is privately owned. The aspect is immediately recognizable and the windows are works of art and in every window we could see fronting East Blvd. We parked in front and got out to take a look and a quick walk. What an architectural gem in this neighborhood!

Only could visit outside from sidewalk. Public tours every so often. Nicely restored Prairie style .

What a rare find! Was excited to find this piece of history while passing through Rochester for work. An incredible work or art that was truly ahead of its time. Unfortunately it’s not a home you can tour but a few photos from the street are still worth the visit.

Stunningly beautiful inside and lovingly restored and maintained by the present owners.  Few people realize Rochester has a Frank Lloyd Wright house so it's not mobbed.  The most striking feature from outside is the cantilevered porch, which is amazing to see in a city full of porches.  Steel beams are embedded in the house which are the only supports for the porch roof.  It's remarkable to see perfect lines on a roof that has no visible support.  If you are able to take a tour, I highly recommend it.

Without a doubt my favorite house in Rochester. Definitely worth strolling through the neighborhood to see it and the other beautiful homes around it. The cantilevered roof is unbelievable. A real architectural gem.

Many years ago I and my friend Sally Andrews would go there to meet with Karen Brown who lived there at the time with her husband . Karen was a talented jewelry person who did work for Sally. Sally has passed away. Karen is still the vibrant person she was back in the 90s. PBS bring the best. Good luck to the new owners.

I was impressed with the cantilevered roof and the overall design. We were visiting our son and went for a walk. We just happened upon the house!
