Very happy with all aspects of the service I received. Took my car in with an electrical fault which flummoxed another garage and a mobile auto electrician, both of whom charged me for making the matter worse. Ken at Kings Autos spoke with knowledge and confidence. The workshop is immaculate. I knew straight away I was dealing with a professional who took pride in his work and reputation. I was kept informed of progress and possible costs. The problem was rectified and I drove away with five years guarantee on the work completed.

Talks the talk but definitely doesn't walk the walk charged me £250 plus to clear some ecu faults but didn't get to the root of the problem causing the faults to reappear 3 days later. Then replaced the battery that didn't need doing! When the problems returned a few days I returned and he didn't want to know, stopped taking my calls AVOID!

'Kings Autos' is actually a double garage, on a residential street, at the back of someone's house. Admittedly, it's impeccably clean and tidy, but it is also one of the most extortionately priced garages I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Labour charges are £65 per hour, with a policy that the vehicle must be left with them for "a minimum of five hours", regardless of the fault (somewhat at odds with their own website): "Whether you've got a problem with your Engine Management Light (EML)...we can pin point the source of the problem at the click of the button." I wasn't aware that button-clicking was such a labour-intensive activity. So, potentially, you're looking at £325 in labour charges before you even consider parts + VAT. My advice, in a word: AVOID.
