I'm very anal when it comes to cars / vans / motorbikes. I was very sceptical about going to buy a second hand van after seeing people's bad experiences with various salesmen. But I can honestly say this company and staff were fantastic. Van was as described, nothing hidden, and no faults. The guys didn't push me to buy the Van (most salesmen do!), gave me time to inspect the Van, offered help if I needed it, over the phone detailed information (I live 2hours away). Flawless. Great service all round. Cheers!

Just like to say what a great company this is splendid customer services and I couldn't rate them enough. 
I don't know what happened to the gentleman before but they helped me with every aspect of my purchase and I have had my vehicle for over a year no with no problems whatsoever. Sometimes we do have to remember we are buying "second hand" and all sorts of problems can  occur. 
Keep up the good work guys.

I don't often write reviews but felt like I needed to for Hegarty Commercials.... 

I can honestly say the staff there are helpful, welcoming and knowledgable. 

I told them what I wanted and my budget and they took this all into consideration and provided me with a top quality service along with a top quality reliable van. 

Thankyou Hegarty Commercials I will be recommending you to all friends and family.

****UPDATE***   ON FRIDAY 19TH JUNE I WON MY CASE AGAINST HEGARTY COMMERCIALS AND WAS AWARDED £1100. 

I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid these cowboys.  I travelled all the way down from Cambridge after my original van was written off. I told them that my whole family depended on me earning and they assured me that the £8000 van I was considering buying from them was totally sound.

Here's a list of things that were wrong with the van.

1) Two holes in the fuel tank - replaced by me
2) Ply-lining soaked through with diesel from holes in tank. All ripped out and replaced by me.
3) Front brakes worn despite service the day before. Replaced
4) Back brakes also worn. Also replaced.
5) Earth connecting cable without nut causing it to be disconnected from battery in turn causing all the electrics to short circuit and the van to break down completely
6) Head lamps working at half power. Replaced
7) Service light on constantly despite alleged service.
8) Right hand rear door does not sit flush with the left. Possibly not the original doors
9) Fuel filter light on.
10} Alternator gone

I have spent close to a thousand pounds fixing up this van and of course they denied all knowledge despite it going through an alleged service. This all on a van with an alleged 27,000 miles on the clock.

I have now issued a claim in the small claims court against them and I will also be contacting VOSA and the Trading Standards Authority.#

Honestly, do not give these people your money. I have only given them one star because it wouldn't let me post it with none.
