Awful. Our car broke down with the same fault several times. Problems happen, but it is how it was dealt with that was deplorable. Extremely poor communication, we had to do all of the chasing. Promises were broken which caused significant inconvenience and loss of earnings. The general manager hasn’t even extended the minimal courtesy of answering my detailed email and the service manager is elusive and does not call back. Without doubt the worst customer service I can recall experiencing the only reason I’ve had for the awful service is excuses to say their business is flawed. I totally agree, but what are you going to do to fix it? Absolutely nothing I expect......

Absolutely disgusted. Got told the car would pass it's mot and the pads would pass to find out an hour later after service that it did in fact fail on the pads. They have no idea what they are doing as we took the car and done it else where a lot cheaper and when reviewing it we got told we shouldn't have driven the car away . It was beyond dangerous . So going from it will pass to then it failed in a matter of 45 mins to an hour to then finding out they let us drive the death trap away . Why endanger people like this specially when you are meant to TRUST FORD.

Booked my wife's car in for its annual service at Ford. When I phoned up I spoke to a woman in customer service and detailed what I wanted done as part of the service. It was follows: oil and filter change, air filter change,fuel filter change, brake fluid change. She was unable to give me an exact price. She also told me, quite amusingly that my wife's car did not have a fuel filter. I explained to the woman that every modern car has a fuel filter. She refused to accept this. I then asked her "do you know what a fuel filter is?". She said "not really". I went on to explain where a fuel filter is normally located and what its purpose is. Must have been a bit embarrassing having a customer explain this to a Ford employee. I also mentioned that some cars have their fuel filters in the fuel tank so are not usually changed but in the case of my wife's car it most certainly has a fuel filter (having had it changed before and having seen it, I knew it had). It was quite an infuriating conversation. Ford should train their staff better. I'm of the impression that dealers like to hire women now to book the cars in (have noticed a growing trend in this over last 15 years) because it will help put non technical car owners at ease, particularly pensioners, females and inexperienced people.It is a dirty trick by Ford. I will also mention that if you book in an annual service you should always have an idea of what work is being done. As an "aside" many car manufacturers will act like they are doing your car a world of good by giving it its annual service but you will often find that what that really means is that they will just change the oil and filter, run a basic health check on it, check fluid levels and charge you about £180 for the privilege. This level of work only amounts to about 1 hours labour (30 minutes for the oil change and 30 minutes for diagnostics/fluid check) but Ford and other manufacturers will keep your car for longer in order to give the impression they've spent several hours on it.
