Wrest Park

Great cafe and adventure playground open and free of charge to anyone, you don't have to be an English Heritage member to use these. The cafe food is good. Cafe has large glass doors which open in the summer bringing the outside in. Playground is good, and situated in the old walled garden so is often a sun trap. The main gardens are stunning and worth a visit, especially if you are a member and can get in for free.

More to see then I thought so I wondered round and didn't manage to see it all, so I'll have to go back. This is a great place to take the family including the dog. It's got large grounds so plenty of walking with nice pathways. We watched a show about children's jobs in Victorian life which was very entertaining and educational for the kids.

Brilliant for all the family, dogs on leafs in grounds only. History of the house and owners inside. Great coffee shop where you can buy cakes, lunches etc which caters for allergies and intolerance really well. Regular events. English Heritage....we love it here and visit regularly 😁

Interesting pace to visit. Very historical. And lovely grounds to walk around. Also nice tea room.

Lovely gardens, the house is missing a nice interior but still beautiful. Recommended on a sunny day but if it rains forget it as the gardens are the main beauty factors of this place
