We offer guided tours by experienced guides - or you can make your own way around with a tour leaflet to explore the 1837 Monitorial Schoolroom built to house 300 children, the mid 1850s Gallery Classroom, the Edwardian Classroom and the WW2 Classroom. Follow the Family Discovery Trail with the children. The headmaster's house set in the late Victorian period enhances a visit. We are a hands-on museum - try writing in a sand tray or on a slate, or dipping your pen into an inkwell; you can also play with early toys, games and puzzles.
Come and see the latest exhibition.
