Measured, but part of measurement missing so needed to be re measured, but still in correct. Poor design, faults came to light when being fitted. Top of range kitchen equivalent quality to lower grade units by other kitchen companies according to our 25yr+ experienced fitter. Some products arrived damaged. Mismatched oven and microwave sent. - waited 10 days before getting a response as to which we were keeping so no oven or micro for that time. Doors missing and due to be sent between 2 and 10 days...8 weeks later still waiting. Tower unit built and sent with 1 completely different door!! Finish decor panels don't do what they're supposed to do as not 'double sided' so finish not sleek. Aintree store manager and designer could not come to see all faults / problems as they are not insured to make visits to the home! Unsure why they couldn't come with a staff who measure if that's an issue..??!! Customer service wanting lots of photos to prove issues - again could have been quickly rectified with a visit. Hours spent on phone chasing up theses issues. Many calls ignored and not returned when trying to rectify issues. All in all AVOID BUYING A KITCHEN WITH WREN
UPDATE: It's worth sharing that after our experience, our friends decided to go with Wren, too. Unfortunately, their experience was the polar opposite of ours. More than 15 weeks after a rushed installation - with parts for someone else's kitchen delivered to their home - they're still no closer to getting a catalogue of issues resolved. Had a great experience with Wren in Aintree. Initially, I was worried due to the mixed reviews and when you read some of the horror stories it puts you off - especially when you're parting with a fair chunk of cash. For those worrying like I did - don't. Everything went smoothly from the initial consultation, measuring up to the brilliant fitting by Wren's own fitter, Robert. We went for the pre-built units, so it took less time for everything to go in. Wren's fitter Robert ripped out the old kitchen and managed to finish within a week, including new tiles being fitted and a few extra power sockets added. Wren include the kitchen being ripped out and taken away in the price - as well as all the bits of rubbish from the new kitchen - included in the price, so just check that in-store as it saves such a headache. Word of warning, the pre-built units take up a LOT of space, so make sure you have the room to store them when they're delivered. Honestly, I am over the moon with how it all turned out. We now have our dream kitchen and there's not a single thing wrong with it - it's fantastic. Ignore those miserable people who moan over the slightest, insignificant thing. Our experience was faultless and the fitting was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for the tradesman, Robert if you can request him, please do - he was ace.
Great service from Andrew, helped us to pick out our kitchen layout in 3D. Great advice and knowledge and very happy we chose Wrens.
1st visit. Greeted by a wonderful young lady Olivia and she explained everything and looked after us. My wife enjoyed her first pizza and fries. We will certainly be going back. A very nice experience.
From our initial meeting with the staff at the showroom we have been impressed! Staff listened to our views and requirements and offered alternative ideas All elements of the process was explained including time scales and importantly prices. Delivery was at our convenience which was a slick process. Very happy with the little after we required with a very prompt response. Overall excellent from start to finish would 100% recommend Wren kitchens Still waiting for glass splashbacks !!!! from another company due to pandemic
Update August 2018 - we successfully managed to reject the kitchen and obtain a full refund after taking Wren to the Ombudsman under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The Ombudsman ruled in our favour and they were shown to be in breach of this act by not allowing us to reject, which we did within 1 week of installation. Don't let the displays in the showroom fool you. The product they send out is horrendously bad and not fit for purpose, and the customer service is up there with one of the worst I've encountered. Our kitchen was delivered end of October 2017, and we have had 15 deliveries since then to try replace missing and substandard goods they've still not managed to do this. Brand new oven also needed replacing as it was faulty, though Wren tried to make us repair it and not replace it, despite not being used and being within 30 days of it being delivered. Just thankful we turned it on when we did to make sure it was working. Nearly every single panel and drawer has been replaced due to shoddy paintwork, poor finish etc. and then paint actually wiped straight off an end panel after wiping it with a wet cloth. We are currently in the process of rejecting the kitchen for a full refund as the standard of goods is so poor and is not fit for purpose. If you can't wipe a kitchen without paint coming off units, then not sure how you are able to actually use the kitchen? And if you're thinking it won't happen to you and I must just be one of the unlucky ones, check out online forums and social media for reviews.
