It was my first time visiting last night to watch Deadpool 2 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The screen looks great and the sound is deep. It was so nice to visit a cinema that don’t charge extortionate prices and the old school intermission break was welcomed. Will definitely be my cinema of choice from now on.
Great old fashioned picture house. Staff could try and be a bit friendlier. Should take a leaf out of the plaza in Crosby book. Much friendlier place and down to earth prices. But still a nice cinema.
Such a delightful place to visit. A good old fashioned cinema that makes it an experience to visit. Love the current festive scene they've installed at the front. The staff are super friendly and helpful, seats are comfy and the popcorn is tasty whilst not breaking the bank.
Fabulous old fashioned picture house, lovely comfortable chairs with lots of leg space. Still has an interlude half way through the film with ice cream sold by staff from a tray. It's great.
An absolute delight, Woolton Picture House is the oldest cinema in Liverpool and one of only a very small number of independent cinemas. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of leg room. The picture and sound quality are good. Prices are reasonable for tickets and refreshments.
Beautiful place. Gem of our city. Brilliant you can now have a cheeky glass of wine.. live visiting here for special films especially at Christmas
Fantastic old fashioned cinema that still has an interval half way through the movie. As well as serving popcorn and ice cream it also serves alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Tickets can be booked online or purchased when you get there.
Loved this place, first time visiting and would definitely return, we went for the christmas showing if elf, great selection of snacks and even a intermission! Highly recommend
Used to go to this cinema as a child. Always wanted to visit again. Went to see Downton abbey which I thought was great film to see at this cinema. I like the fact that nothing much has changed. Please keep it going. I look forward to visiting again.
