Nice location for traveling to areas. Bar and food are excellent and plenty filling! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our superior room was of good standard and adequate. Bathroom a little dated but functional and everything you need. Would definitely return if we needed to. Rooms: Cosy but could do with a little updating, and touching up on worn areas. Superior room nice large bed, and comfy ! Nearby activities: Great to travel for longleat Safari Park. Food & drinks: Food is excellent and fair price for location. Not your ping food!
We came in today 30/01 for a birthday family meal 6 adults & 1 toddler. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcome and the restaurant setting was lovely. The food was amazing and the staff on shift were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you so much from us all, we will definitely be back!
We arrived at the woolpack it was lit up with all the Christmas lights our room was right at the top both of us are disabled we found the stairs very hard going!. Bedroom lovely and clean although the carpet, headboards bathroom all needs attention the bathroom was smelly . Breakfast was very nice staff was pleasant. Warm friendly atmosphere.
It was my Birthday and my daughter and son in law with there 1 year old took us there for Sunday lunch best Sunday lunch we have had out for a long time .The portions were large even the children's meals were generous. Will definitely be going again when we visit from Cornwall again .
A good Christmas lunch was provided for quite a large group, over three courses. I didn't hear any serious complaints and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The staff, both kitchen and service, did a great job.
Visited the Woolpack for an evening meal. Its a great friendly pub with good food at reasonable prices. We didn't stay here so can't comment on what the rooms are like. Definitely good for a drink and food thoughService: 5/5

This was our first visit to the Woolpack and what a lovely pub it is. Great surroundings, lovely food and all the staff were helpful and polite, especially the young man we had serving. We will be going back
