Story

Roger, Nichola, Gary, Ade, James ,Paul & Danielle we are the team that make up A & E Leisure.

Firstly we would like to thank you for taking time to view our Facebook page and by reading this you may get to know us a little better and hopefully we will get to meet you and get to know you too!

So…who are we…well, we all worked together at the ‘old’ Harrington’s site (I use this name because most people still refer to the site as Harrington’s). For those who do not know, Harrington’s was a family run business, still largely respected in the area that had a very keen customer following. Discover Leisure later acquired the business and merged other leisure groups together under the banner of Discover Leisure. Discover Leisure entered into administration on the 14th October 2011, making the 69 people on the Cheshire site redundant and many customer’s left stranded.

I rang up A&E to make a quick enquiry, checked about delivery timescales, ordered around lunchtime and to my surprise it was delivered the next day after choosing standard delivery!  The end-to-end transaction was smooth, much quicker than expected and most of all, friendly!nn...and competitive prices too!! I was looking for a cover for my horse trailer, I came across A&E Leisure by chance! I saw it was a family business and I too have a family business so wanted support it rather than a huge company. I was really happy with the purchase. Great quality, fast delivery times/options, hassle free and all round very professional. Instructions, emails all the way. Had a follow up email to say thank you and could I leave a review. I don’t normally leave reviews only if something is terrible so others can avoid. I’m also very busy but on this occasion I wanted to. Thank you Firth family, I will definitely buy from you again.

This was a case of 3rd time lucky. I'd ordered a chair that was no longer in production but was a pair to one we already have. 2 other sellers took my order then refunded a couple of days later as  they hadn't counted their stock correctly.nWhat a different experience with A&E Leisure. A seamless online sales experience, great delivery communication and a new chair at my door within 48 hours. And very competitively priced too.nHighly recommend.nAlso nice to know it's a family company.

Honestly could not fault the whole process. Extremely helpful with regards to getting the correct size awning. Delivery quick and on time, and cheaper than anywhere else for the awning I bought.

Buying Product was goodnDelivering Product goodnReturning Product was awful !nTaken off 10% my advise is don’t open what you receive as will then be ‘used item’ and deduct at least 10% + you pay to return to find this out.nMy mistake was not putting tissue paper back between items when returning cost me !!nMake sure you get the right product from them first off my mistake again.nStick with Amazon I know they are big and I really like to help small firms but like to think I at least get my money back if product is wrong watch T&Cs small print which few do as well.nPS did get remaining money back in 3 days as indicated good.nThey will say it was a used item  forgot the tissue paper and no new customer likes to receive this blah blah blah but I am a new customer that would expect to get my money back if product wrong and unused returned swiftly within days …
