Cracking wee takeaway!! Working Nightshift at south gyle and ordered a beef curry and fried rice...and it tasted fantastic! £8 for this dish and worth every penny. I'm fussy when it comes to this dish but safe to say this was up there with the best!
I got a take away from this restaurant and can honestly say it was disgusting. Curry powder. Vegetarian and was full of onions. I phoned and complained. The owner of restaurant was very rude. Tried to say that there is always a difference in take away food. To sitting in. As if I didn’t know what I was talking about. Never again would I use this restaurant. Complete waste of money.
Dining in Wongs at the moment. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Staff very attentive. House wine at £15.95 a bottle very pleasant. No reason to give negative comments from this evening's experience. Keep up the high standards Wongs.
Got a carry out yesterday evening and it was awful. Barbecue Spare Ribs, meat was old and tough. Char Sui Satay, I've never seen pork provided like that, and it was under-cooked. The only thing edible was the rice. Service was unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Slight error with my choice of dish, however quickly corrected. Very basic layout giving the appearance that the Takeaway element is their main trade. However good social distance between tables and staff wore face coverings while Front Of House. Hand Gel on each table.
I don't normally lave reviews but felt I had to on this occasion to warn others. Worst Chinese meal I have ever had. No flavours in soup.or curry whatsoever. So bland. Had to add salt and still rotten. I've never had to add spices to a carryout to try and enjoy. Called to complain and asked for a refund, 50% only, as I know they have to survive. Staff uninterested and no offer of a refund. Since the departure of Rosa restaurant has gone downhill. Definitely won't be back.
Got a takeaway from here for the first time. Positives first, nice noodles, nice chips, decent rice, generous portions. Negatives, chewy beef, green Thai curry was gelatinous and not very Thai, mushroom foo yung unpleasant, satay skewers gloopy. Also IMHO either MSG or a tonne of salt were used in the making of the meal. Overall a disappointment
AMAZING! Trying to find ANY takeaway that is gluten free is nigh impossible. But finding a Chinese one is harder! There food is amazing!! It was so nice to finally have a TREAT. A perfectly cooked, perfectly spiced, great priced, gluten free takeaway! The service was also amazing! Kind, more than willing to explain all the options, patient at all the questions. Needless to say, will be our ONLY takeaway now!
The food is very good and is well priced, the staff are very friendly and helpful and will give you an accurate as possible estimated time of arrival for your order if you phone up for a delivery and you can phone your order in for collection so that it is available for you arriving to the restaurant to collect. The drivers are polite and friendly and will do their best to get the food to you as quick as they can. You are needing to phone up if you are wanting a delivery or you can phone in your collection order. The food can be prepared quickly and you will not wait long on your meal even if you do not phone in your order ahead of arriving at the restaurant. They also have restaurant sit in side to the business and the staff are very friendly and helpful and offer first-class service. They have assortment of wines spirits and beers they also have non-alcoholic beers and a good selection of soft drinks, water is available on request, they also do very good coffees they are good at making cappuccinos lattes as well as standard coffees and pots of tea Is are very good restaurant and has very good takeaway service would recommend to anybody looking for good Food. They have got toilets facilities that are always very clean and working and you can pay by card.
