I’ve ordered here before and it was decent food, but the waits are always long. Tonight was ridiculous, we waited two hours for it to come and phoned for updates twice. The first time the woman on the phone was relatively nice, told us it was on its way and just to wait a few minutes longer. So we did - another twenty minutes before calling again and this time she was very rude, told us we would get the food when we get it and then abruptly hung up. I’m in my 20s so usually I’m fine to wait a while and I understand service staff have it difficult I work in hospitality but I’m really not sure if this was worth the wait and the rudeness.
I ordered crispy chilli shredded chicken and I was so disappointed by what I received. First of all it was not crispy in the slightest, instead it was soggy in some sauce which was did not taste of anything. The rice was okay but it wasn’t good friend rice. Really let down this time.
Absolutely love the food here. Its been my take away choice for a number of years, great food, great choice and portion size is probably the best I've had from a take out, also the people are all friendly, always ready for a conversation while you wait for your food. They deliver too if you're feeling lazy, well worth a try.. Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian but I believe they have a good choice. Kid-friendliness: As its a take away, I don't usually take the kids in. Parking: Only on street parking, can get busy especially with a bus lane passing by. Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough for a wheelchair. Dietary restrictions: I've not read the menu for a while so I unfortunately don't know much on this topic. Myself and my family don't have any food allergies but I believe that they use nut oil for a number of dishes. Best check with them if you visit.
Super fast deliver, like scary fast! Food was all fine. Nothing mind blowing. Gave me free prawn crackers and fried bananas. OK place average prices.
Have used a few times but never again after tonight. Phoned after an hour wait to be told that I had my order?? Arrived 15 minutes later cold please don’t use
Really bad quality food, they do not listen the customer's preference/request, the guy at the phone it is really rude, wanted 2 hours for the delivery and the girl at the beginning said "the diver have your order. 40 minutes and will arrive". 40 minutes after 2 hours?! And the order never arrived!
Chicken noodle soup was absolutely awful. Really peppery and noodles like mush - horrible. The rest was nice but, even though they do lemon, orange and plum chicken, they didn't specify the lemon was made with sweet and sour sauce with a slice of lemon, not lemon sauce! I'd ordered a tub of sweet and sour sauce, which became surplus because of the lemon chicken! They stuck to the arranged time - I'd pre-ordered before opening hours - but driver didn't wear a mask nor seem to care about distance. I typed this after giving a 3 star rating but, having read it back I'm dropping it to 2. 1 for the main course quality and 1 for time keeping. There were 3 issues, soup, misleading menu and mask. I now only get a takeaway once a year around my birthday and this put me off even more.
fast delivery but once again food was greasy, chips were either half cooked or soggy. containers damaged, driver didnt respect the 'contact free' delivery. instead he humphed when I asked him to place my food on the floor and step back with the money for the order on the windowsill. takeaway didnt even take notice of my delivery note on Just Eat. honestly if it wasnt due to the time of the night I would ordered from my regular Chinese takeaway me and my relatives have ordered from for YEARS! The New Pot, definitely still the best! and by far the fastest when it comes to delivery
We never usually order from here but our favourite Chinese is closed now. I ordered a chow mein but it was basically a box of noodles. There was hardly anything in it. No sauce either, very dry. Chips soggy too. Free prawn crackers. Delivery took nearly an hour but they did say that. Not the best Chinese takeaway. Won't be ordering from here again.
One of the worst Chinese takeaways. Passed the takeaway for many years and thought it always looked nice so, decided to call in. Ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Curry Sauce and Crispy Chilli Beef. The chicken in the rice wasn't nice questionably chicken meat, the Chilli Beef was appalling but the curry sauce was not bad. Overall, terrible meal, not cheap and will not be back again.
