This is a real shame. When we first started getting deliveries from natural way they were brilliant. Great food. Speedy delivery. BUT the last few times we have ordered it has got later and later. We are currently waiting for our dinner for 2 hours and counting!! We live a 15 minute drive away..whenever you phone they just say it's with the driver... it's ridiculous now. We ordered through just eat and they only ever offer money off our next delivery... which is great... if you didn't have to wait hours to get it. AVOID!
AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. The delivery times are awful we pre-ordered for 20:20 to allow for kids’ bedtime, and the service from the restaurant is disgraceful. When our order arrived 30 minutes early, I realised there was missing food and an extra box we didn’t order. I called the restaurant who went through the order line by line, and reluctantly said they would send the missing food and to hand the extra food back to the delivery driver. Fine. 25 minutes later, the driver reappeared with the WRONG FOOD. I sent it back along with the extra won ton we had received, and called the restaurant again. The man who answered the phone told me I was wrong, and hung up on me. My wife then phoned to be told it was my fault the wrong food was sent, and he then put the phone down on the counter rather than discussing the issue. She was accused of lying, being rude !!, and no apology was offered nor acknowledgement of the missing food. When she asked where the missing food was, he said “I’m hanging up now” and did. 1 hour and 20 mins after the first delivery, the driver arrived unexpectedly with the missing food. By this point, all the food had spoiled and gone in the bin, and refund processed by JustEat. I would not have trusted the food that was delivered late, nor will I trust any future orders so we will not he ordered from here again. I doubt JustEat can / will do anything about the shocking service, so I hope that this review will help prevent any future business.
AVOID!! Absolutely abysmal from start to finish!! Ordered chicken noodle soup, chips,a curry sauce and a bottle of juice. Waited almost 2 hours for it to arrive, which seems to be the standard looking at previous reviews. Called half hour after stated delivery time, wasn't even sure I had the right place seeing as call was answered with only "hello". was told the driver was out somewhere! When the order arrived I had no soup, and 2 sauce. Called again and was eventually told it was too busy, so to keep the sauce and they'd owe me a soup for next time!! I can guarantee there will never be a next time from this utter sham of a restaurant!! AVOID!!
Such a shame. Ordered a take away at 19:05 for delivery which was promised within an hour and a half. At 22:00 we ended up going down to try to pick it up. Phoned several times in the intervening period to find out when it would arrive to be told “I didn’t understand the industry”, no apology and no estimate of when the food would actually arrive. 15 years I’ve had take aways from The Natural Way. Unfortunately, I won’t be using them again.
Gave this place benefit of doubt because of late, has been really slow with deliveries. Tonight, food still hadn’t arrived after 1hr 20mins so called and was informed that they were waiting on driver coming back before cooking food to send out! Needless to say I wasn’t waiting another hour so order cancelled. Will be the last time we use or recommend Natural Way.
2 stars for customer service. Delivery times chaotic and front of house explanation is “ I tell them what to cook but they don’t listen to me!!” Food is good but I despair at trying to get an order for the time quoted. Ordered 6:15 and told 7:00 for collection. Was phoned at 2 minutes to 7:00 and told it would be 7:30 - NOT ACCEPTABLE
Popped in to this take away for the first time on my way home. I didn't read the reviews until I got back in the car with my order and thought my meal was going to be really poor. I was wrong. The food was very good. It was fresh, hot and really tasty. I'm fussy about take away food but could not fault it. Go on give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time. We ordered a munchy box, noodles and dumplings. Food arrived in reusable plastic containers, everything was warm and veru very tasty. The munchy box was so filling that we actually ate the noodles the day after and they were still as good as they were when we tasted them yeteryestday night. Totally recommended :
Deeply disappointed. This used to be our fav Chinese takeaway in Edinburgh. Hadn't used much recently as some Fabulous chinese buffets and restaurants opened in the last few years. Decided to ignore some recent negative reviews. Bad move. Decided to collect meal and was over 1/2 hour beyond what they originally said it would be ready. Starters dry, bland and overcooked. Crispy chilli beef was inedible and better described as soggy chilli rubber sticks. Won't be returning.
Absolutely love their food.. especially the Thai ...been ordering the Thai cashew nuts & Tofu ..just brilliant...keep up the great work... You are legends! Delivery is good despite being in lockdown! Will keep ordering!
