Worst Chinese meal ever. Watery Satay, burnt chow mein, pale flavourless chips and plain un-seasoned rice instead of fried rice. No crackers, charged for delivery even though they advertise free delivery and it's only a mile or so away. Ordered through Just Eat who refunded the cost of the meal but not the delivery. We had a really long day and this was a looked forward to treat and it's just rubbish. Stick to pizza. As an addition to this. The restaurant sent the driver back to get the food which we had binned. And caused a massive scene in the hotel reception. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
Stopped here before a football match for a quick meal. Food was excellent, really tasty and the staff were incredibly quick and friendly. A lovely little find, will be going back again soon. We recommend the noodles !
I used to love it but recently it's changed but not for the better for me. I'm a creature of habit I'm afraid but the chicken fried rice has a strange after taste, almost like soap, I can't finish it or stomach it. The lemon chicken used to be in a tasty pineapple sauce as standard but now is traditional pale, tasteless fare. I'm devastated to have to find a new Chinese especially one that does toffee apple dessert but this is my second try and I can't be wasting the money. I still hope others aren't as sensitive as me cos it deserves to survive. It's a shame.
Food was disappointing and of low standard. It was very bland, the crispy beef was chewy not crispy. The salt and spicy prawns were not spicy and we're had very little colour. The satay sauce which should contain peanuts had no nuts and did not resemble satay sauce at all. We will not go again. Certainly had better Chinese than at peach garden. Very very disappointed.
We have been going to peach garden for around 8 years now, the past few months the food quality has been getting worse and worse. Our meal tonight was shocking, chips tasted stale and cold, chicken chow mein again was cold and chicken was dry and solid. When somewhere can get chips right, what hope do you have for the rest of the meal. Won't be returning
If were going to get a Chinese the peach garden is definately the top option! Since being taken over by new management the food has been exquisite, great quality and consistently good every time never felt let down or not enjoyed a meal from here! I have recommended to other friends and all agree food is amazing !! Would definately recommend.
Brilliant as always, best in Edinburgh. Crispy shredded chicken, Kung po prawns, salt and pepper chicken wings, rice, noodles. Big menu, can order on Just Eat but direct order at the store gives you much more options.
We have been using peach garden for around a year now and every order has been perfect. No complaints at all.
Great selection of food. Freshly cooked. Very generous portions and reasonably priced. Well worth a try.
Hogmanay dinner with friends - food and service excellent. Normally get takeaway from here but first time I've eaten in. We'll be back!
