Friendly staff upon entrance, they had a good start. Service wise it declined as the night went on. When several members of the group required more beverages. Food was okay, some parts of the meal was cold. Understandably if all the food came out in one go I would expect it to be warm, but not if there was intervals between plates arriving. Dessert wise, looked descent, although they forgot to bring out one dessert dishes. Other remarks: - Had to go up twice to ask for service / request missing items. - Surprisingly quite for a Saturday evening. - My party was a group of 10+
We recently held a Wake here following a funeral at the nearby South West Middx Crem. It could not have gone better. The buffet was lovely, plenty of bar staff and we had an area completely to ourselves. Plenty of parking and a Premier Inn attached for those travelling some distance. Nothing was too much trouble, with a Memory Table set up for photos etc. A friend who lives nearby was allowed to put flowers on each table. A beautiful room. Thanks to all the staff for making it such a wonderful celebration of my mum's life.
Very nice! Why? Great choice of food and good quality food and same with drinks Nice ambiance in the week day afternoon where it was busy enough, but not too busy Hunters Chicken in the first picture really was delicious as was the Squid starter
Came for Dinner With my Father and Sister, Staff couldn't have been more helpful, the Duck Special was modified for my dad, his only complaint was he wanted more Duck, Bless him but he had enough room for Apple crumble defo worth a visit the service was great, very attentive,
I would recommend The Winning Post- good food, free large car park and spacious venue. We were a table of 4 and went to eat. I have to say that they’re sharing nachos are some of the nicest I have tasted- the freshly made tortilla chips are really nice. It would be nicer to have some more guacamole but I often think this with nachos- this is my preferred dip. The menu has a number of vegan options which is not always common and the allergen menu online is really useful. The service was good- any minor issue resolved without delay. Staff were welcoming. Overall I would recommend and plan to return.
Just returned from an amazing team Xmas lunch! The whole process was seamless … from the booking to the delicious and extremely plentiful food served up. All the food was so fresh, really scrummy & served up very hot on equally hot plates. Each dish was highly recommended… no complaints from anyone at all! It’s really hard to get group Xmas food on point as I’ve found that the food was cooked on batches so therefore the quality was sometimes compromised- but not this one. Really really good food and fantastic customer service from start to finish- thank you so much guys. One of the best Christmas lunches that I’ve ever been to … this place can’t be more recommended.and the whole team were very happy bunnies…
Not the greatest of reviews, but tried it anyway. Last night was really good, and tonight the same. The staff were great both nights, but I have to give a special thank you to the waitress tonight. Didn't get her name, but she was lovely. Very attentive to people waiting to be seated. She acknowledged that they were there, and she would be with them as soon as possible. Not just ignore them. The waiter was also good.
Great evening out with friends. Absolutely wonderful experience. Personally I had tomahawk steak cooked to perfection of medium rare. Also recommend ribs, which I intend to try, if they only run out of steaks. Raspberry cheesecake was good as well. In general, nice and friendly place to have a good time with friends or family, choice of food and service are very good. Definitely recommend.
Staff very helpful and accommodating for my daughter's birthday. Food was superb and very children friendly. Lovely evening
