Firstly, I'd like to give the staff recognition for their friendly service. Secondly the food wasn't worth the money, all the starters were deep fried with no taste, just added onions, garlic and red chillies - this does not make a dish "Salt and Pepper". The mains was more acceptable but still not amazing. To conclude this, my local Chinese take away food is far better, the taste, the quality and the price. Here I felt like I paid for take away food for fine dining prices. If the food was better, this would be a great place and I wouldn't mind paying.
It was an amazing experience at Wings. The staff was so hospitable and delivered from the moment we stepped into the restaurant till the end of our evening. Super good atmosphere and the dim sum was the star. Beautifully made, exquisite flavours and in my mind worth every penny.Food: 5/5
The staff are absolutely lovely and very attentive, they cannot be faulted. The mains were nice, however, not any better than my local Chinese takeaway, it wasn’t worth the price. The salt and pepper chips had absolutely no flavour. The restaurant has no atmosphere and certainly isn’t worth the price they are charging, and we will definitely not be returning.
We have been a few times and the food is always incredible and the service really is something special. The recent refurb is beautiful. Wings is our favourite place to eat in Manchester.Food: 5/5
Totally average food at extortionate prices. There are so many better Chinese restaurants throughout the Manchester area serving much better food. Assume they are still trading on their name and the promise of the small possibility of seeing a footballer or the latest x-rated celeb.Food: 2/5
Excellent food, best chicken and sweetcorn soup I've ever had. Service also excellent. Not the cheapest Chinese restaurant but that's reflected in the quality.Food: 5/5
Excellent food and lovely staff. Newly refurbished restaurant is great. Sea bass and Rainbow Dim Sum Platter were both fantasticFood: 5/5
Superb food. Amazing staff. We were early on Sunday evening so pretty quiet. Cannot wait to returnFood: 5/5
Excellent!! Very friendly and Kind staffs, amazing restaurant with a great Chinese food. We had a really good time Xie xie!
Without exaggerating, this was quite simply the best Chinese I have ever had. Every mouthful was bursting with flavour. We were so glad we went with our ‘usual’ the classics, because we were shown just how incredible they can be, in true authentic Cantonese style. This is not a ‘showy’ restaurant like 20 Stories which we also visited that weekend, but a genuine, properly incredible meal out. It’s no wonder there are hundreds of thankyou plates from famous footballers on entry! We will be returning very soon.
