Had a great experience attending this venue last Saturday night, had a table for 9 guys which they normally don't do but they were very accommodating since we had booked well in advance after travelling from London and arriving early! From the moment we got in all of the staff were very friendly even the bouncers. The ambience was exactly what you wanted from sophisticated nightlife, banging tunes across the ages, prompt table service, classy crowd and not overpacked to get your dance on! Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a similar experience and wanting to avoid the melee of the bars around deansgate locks which we experienced the previous night

I am disgusted by the way I was treated by the door staff at this venue. Coming from London, we made a special journey to Manchester for mine and a friends birthday and was advised that The Milton Club was supposed to be one of the best venues that Manchester has to offer. I would of thought they would appoint the best and well mannered staff, I couldn't have been more wrong. The security on the door refused us entry as we were a group of 8 men, however if we were a group of 8 women then it wouldn't of been a problem. I find this quite baffling?! A small private area was booked and we secured this by a deposit of £100 + £500 when we arrived. Knowing how some clubs operate and as we were traveling 200+ miles to Manchester, prior to making a booking we doubled checked with the venue if there is a strict rule regarding the amount of males allowed in a group. We were advised that 8 men would not be a problem, just as long as we were dressed smartly and had valid ID which we all did. The doorman was rude, arrogant and did not have a valid reason for not allowing us entry. His excuse was, there's 8 males and that's too many as he don't want us to start a fight in there. When we informed him we had a reservation he simply didn't care. I told him about the phone call we had with the club previously, and all he said was 'well you were mis-informed that's tough you're not coming in, end of. Firstly, we hadn't done anything to give the impression that we were a nasty group of lads out to cause a fight, we simply queued waiting for our ID's to be scanned. But for some reason he had this completely wrong perception of us. He has never met us before, he should not have this automatic assumption that because were a 'largish group of all males' that were out to cause trouble. Its not in our nature whatsoever, but there was no reasoning with the door staff, he wouldn't listen to us and found it hard to believe when we said we're not a horrible bunch of lads. His attitude was appalling and he had ruined our evening. After calling the club today, and waiting nearly 2 hours for a call back we got our deposit back along with a pathetic apology. They should really consider who they employ for door staff, because the current door staff are rude, un-empathetic, and have a serious attitude problem.

I went with a friend. It was a great music playlist for a Saturday night and friendly staff in general. However, me we were turnt off by staff while kept coming to clean in between dancing as they interrupted the flow. I don't see why cleaning has to happen every 2 mins unless it's broken glass or spills. Another thing is at the door when we were leaving we wanted to book a cab and we were waiting indoors as it was raining but we were told to get out which was very rude and inconsiderate and they didn't even explain to us why so will have to mark them down for that. Other than that it was a decent night and s good vibe. Side note: toilet has a lot of steps so just be weary.

Love it. Sophisticated partying at its best, the Japanese Sling & the Chilli Coconut Margarita are the two of the nicest cocktails I have ever had. Make sure you dress smart for this venue otherwise you will get turned away, just a word of warning :

DO NOT bother going here unless you want to be verbally abused! Absolutely gobsmacked by the door staff; rude, arrogant and intimidating. Paid £600 in advance for a package, was refused entry un-explained and no refund. Tried complaining but 2 weeks on still no one bothered to get in touch or refund our money. Stay well away  Up date after 2 weeks of chasing, received a call back from Lloyd the manager. Extremely rude, not willing to listen and made every excuse under the sun why we were not going to receive a refund.  Discrimination!!!

This venue is an absolute disgrace and should simply be made to cease trading. It has ill mannered door men who are barbaric thugs and nothing more. Empowerment in its crudest form. Having had a personal invite to the venue for a 40th occasion advanced payment was made to secure the booking, resulting in refused entry and being man handled at the door by confrontational bouncers. It was absolutely appealing behaviour; allegedly not the first time this has occurred reading the reviews of the establishment.  Police were in fact called on the evening as our group felt threatened by such behaviour. Having perused a refund for the cost of the reservation it is now clear that customer service also lacks. To be shunned and made a mockery of over the phone advising that it was our choice not to enter the club is an blatant distortion of truth. Think twice and read up on reviews before booking in advance people. This will be taken further and compensation sought for such inconvenience you ruined my evening on such a special occasion.

I have NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER experienced such disgusting abuse in my whole life. Me and my friends all went to this club spent significant amount of money on a booth for then my friend to be dragged out of and THREW DOWN THE STAIRS!!!!! Because one of my other friends took a photo of the owner of the club. We was given such abuse. We also have videos of the bouncer shouting 'he will punch my friends face in' bare in mind my friend is a petite size 4-6. I was in a actual state of shock of how she was confronted. 5 huge men surrounding her grabbing her and throwing her down the stairs. All because my friend took a photo of the owner of the club. I will never ever ever return to this disgusting aggressive club in my life. Have no respect for women or anyone!! I'm still shook up and shaking now after how I have just whitnessed my friend being man handled. Honestly so upset with the survive we have received. Another group of girls that we know has also received aggressive behivauoir from the bouncers.

Don’t bother with this place the bouncers are disgusting the way they treat people. Definitely don’t sign up for the prepaid packages as they pick one person out the group to refuse so the rest of the group can’t go in and won’t refund your money. Thought it was to good to be true and it is.

Always have the most amazing night! Usually get a booth but this time got the drinks tickets for flash and it was such a good deal! Love the old school rnb on saturdays!

The Milton Club is a members or Guestlist only club on Deansgate. Away from the busy Deansgate locks and Revolution De Cuba, a location that you could easily walk past on the way to those bars and not realise it is there. From first experience, the Milton Club could seem like a pretentious club but once you get through the doors you are welcomed by friendly staff that always seems to be happy. The cocktails are amazing and the music on a Saturday night is on point.
