Nice outdoor area, quite a bit of room outdoors and there's a Greek stall right next to it where you can buy food. Music was as you expect. Not really a lot of seating or room indoors though but the round booth areas are really nice and comfy. Drinks aren't exactly cheap but that's to be expected. Bar staff seemed quite friendly and experienced too.
I visited the theatre downstairs and it was great fun. Here is a picture of what the place looked like before the show. Loads of women that day, so the male bathroom was nice and quiet with now queues.
First visit at this venue and definitely not the last! Atmosphere is incredible and lively and the service efficient! Great cocktail range and I would definitely recommend the Sexy Socialite! The food is delicious and there’s a lot to choose from! Loved every second of our visit and would come back for sure. Xx
Food tasted and looked like it had come out of a microwave. Customer service was exceptionally poor - a good reflection of staff attitude can be seen in of any response to reviews here under 3 stars. Cleanliness was lacking, curtains towards the top are full of thick dust, so not sure what type of cleaning takes place several times a day, maybe a wipe over with a dirty cloth, as tables were also not the best. Lots of better venues in the near vicinity, would give this one a hard pass.
‘Hey sweetheart you can entry for £15 & you for £25’ Not a fan that they discounted my Girlfriend’s ticket and made me pay more? Doesn’t even make sense… The club was decent overall, good vibes but probably won’t be coming back if they are changing prices based on whether they fancy you or not. Never been to any other club that does this, and to top it off my other mates who came only paid £20 yet I had to pay £25 entry… Just a bit strange to be honest.
Went for bottomless brunch. The food took ages to come. When it did arrive it was cold. Drinks took ages so we only had 3 drinks each. There was only one girl on at the time until the other staff decided to help her. We asked to speak to the manager she was awful no customer service skills what so ever. She obviously needs to be taught how to speak to people. She tried to tell us that we had £400 pounds worth of drinks then when we queried it the bill suddenly dropped to £90 then to £50. They had put drinks on that we hadn't actually ordered. Absolute shocking service and all round rubbish night.
Ordered a bottle of absolute vodka for my friends birthday and they charged us £191 for this bottle of absolute vodka. They also charged a service tip as well £20 for them to walk it 10 meters to the table. After speaking with the staff they was adamant the service charge had to be paid. I understand you can buy a bottle from the shop and it be £30 but having a mark up like that and also adding an extra £20 is a rip off all other places was charging £120. Will avoid next time in Manchester
ABBA Drag Brunch Experience - Distinctly the worst value-for-money experience I’ve had. For £45 a ticket my friends and I felt that this event was terrible and have been to much better brunches for half of the cost 1. Food was extremely poor for such a high price point. The order was also wrong and was not able to rectify as all the food is pre-made. Only a choice of burgers for £45?! 2. The Prosecco is cheap, bitter. The cocktails provided were just filled with ice so constantly had to wait for refills. 3. We paid £500 for a drinks package following the bottomless part. We were asked to leave as soon as the show was over for the next event which was not stated when purchasing the package. 4. The audio in the venue is so poor we could not actually hear what the drag queens were saying. All in all a terrible experience and such a shame as we wanted to do the Beyoncé and Lady Gaga events in the future but we shall not be retuning. Disappointing at best. Do not waste your money!
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Never have I been treated this badly in a bar. After paying £100 for a booking, £5 for watered down shots, and £10 for a rum and coke, our entire party was left unimpressed. Worse even, I personally got shouted and cursed at and called names by the bar manager. We were kicked out as soon as the England game ended, even though the table was booked until 10, and when voicing our frustration about the service and prices, we were met with hostility. Security was great and understanding, but couldn't do anything and the bar manager himself was the issue. Cannot voice enough how horrible this experience was. Will never return and tell everyone not to go near.
We got kicked out because my friend has a disability. He looked drunk which is fair enough because he could not walk straight. Yet we had evidence to prove that was a medical condition. Bouncer agreed with what we were saying yet a small bouncer said he wasn’t able to get in. We had spend so much money in this bar. Ridiculous behaviour especially getting physically dragged out.
