After a few years away we came back and there are several new rooms of which we had one. Nice to see the theme and style has been kept and good quality workmanship. Lovely menu with good local produce and very welcoming pleasant staff.

Stayed for a night mainly because we wanted their restaurant food but they so had a deal for a room for £100 and being our anniversary we thought why not. Room was gorgeous, I had requested a room with a view to sitting on the terrace, stupidly forgot it was February. This meant I had no bath which I so desperately wanted and a more medecocre room so I've heard since. Still a lovely stay with awesome food in a romantic setting followed by a fab breakfast! Highly recommended!!

Was taken here as a birthday gift, and had an amazing time. The little village was beautiful and not far from London at all. The room was great and had a very comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful. The only downside was that the food was a tad overpriced for quality when we ate there for dinner, but was still very good. Overall a lovely place for a couples retreat.

The village of Alfriston was quaint and interesting with a few pubs, cafes and shops to visit. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff were very warm and welcoming. We stayed in room 7 at the top of the house and the room was perfect for us. It was very hot in the room however with the Dyson fan this was not a problem. The bathroom was amazing! We also had dinner here and it was lovely!
