Everyone I have interacted with in the surgery have always been polite, friendly and super helpful. I love the added bonus of being to request things online without having to clog up the phone lines.
Having recently moved to Winchburgh I’ve been really impressed with the friendly customer focussed approach of Almond Group medical practice’s reception team & the support I’ve had recently from the GP Team.
What an absolute gem of a receptionist. If everyone was so nice on the phone. I've also always found the Dr's and nurses hereto be very pleasant, friendly and professional and helpful. 5 stars from me.
I have recently moved to the area and joined the winchburgh branch together with my family. I have had no problem making an appointment when needed and the reception team were very helpful whilst both doctors I have encountered were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone moving to the area.
I recently moved to Winchburgh and have visited the practice a couple of times now. All staff members at the practice have been nothing short of excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the practice to anyone moving into the area. Thank you to each one of you for the service you provide!
Just want to say a huge thank you to Trish at the Almond Group reception team. Cant thank you enough! You are a massive asset to the group - there should be more people like you in the world!! Same goes for Nyree too Thank you again Ladies. It truly has meant alot -the kindness and amazing help you both have given.
One of the worst practices I have ever been registered with. Availability of appointments: Last time I telephoned for an appointment the first available one was 1 month away. Thankfully the human body works on a quicker timescale than that as I was able to cure myself through the passage of time, resulting in me cancelling my appointment three weeks later. Prescriptions: Farcical that they do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone. My other surgery's have accepted this and it is an efficient process saving everyone time. Instead requests need to be in writing. Outdated and unecessary. Being able to speak to the practice in the first instance: When I telephone them it usually rings for a prelonged period or takes several attempts to get an answer.
If you are new to this area please join a different practice. They left my child with no inhaler when changing practices. By Law they should provide up to two months worth of medications. They chose not to. Absolute disgrace. They should be ashamed. Village mentality demonstrated every time a request was submitted.
Perfectly happy with the service from our new GP, cant see why the bad reviews! Receptionist went out of her way to be helpful.. many thanks.
Very bad doctors surgery went to see doctor Jane mcnut for my HGV medical spent £115.00 she told me I passed the medical but need to get my eyes checked so I did £100.00 then told dvla a was an Alcoholic because a had a fatty liver but a don't drink alcohol fatty liver was caused by cocodamol tablets they prescribed me now a have lost my car and HGV licence that I have held for 29years clean licence never had l accident in my life Jane mcnut and has ruined my life and my family's life a year and 4 months later I fighting with dvla and a doctor's am just fighting a loosing for battle and a will never go back to Almond group of practice #life over
