Wilson Veterinary Group offers a full service practice catering for household pets with our main base at Bishop Auckland and branches at 1 Neville Parade Newton Aycliffe DL5 5DH and Dundas Street in SpennymoorDL16 6AS. The second hours are for Newton Aycliffe and Spennymoor sites which are only open Monday to Fridaybetween 8:30 am and 6:30pm. All three branches are fully equipped with surgical facilities, digital radiography, ultrasound and in house laboratory. More detailed information is available by following our website link below. Weekend and after hours service is provided through our Bishop Auckland Site 24 hours a day.

I have a very nervous collie who needed a scale and polish. The vet who looked after him and carried out his procedure was absolutely amazing.
I am always very happy with the service I receive from Wilson Veterinary Group. They are always through with our yearly checkups and they are always happy to help with any worries or concerns I have around my little dog. I would definitely recommend this vets to anyone who is looking for a great service around their pets.
Vets were absolutely brilliant with my 5 month old puppy. She was very sick and was in there 5 days. All the staff there were absolutely amazing and they looked after my little girl helping so much to make a full recovery. And can’t thank the Vets and the vet nurses enough what an absolutely fantastic team. Also Jo one of the mangers was super helpful and very respectful and helped us out so much. Thank you so much to all of the team you are all fantastic and do an amazing job.
Such a kind, caring practice.nnI had to bring in my old collie for the last gift I could give her, and the vet was lovely, explaining every step and what reaction I could expect. She gave me all the time I needed to sit with my old companion for the last time.nnI'm in my sixties and have used Wilson all my life when I've been in Bishop. The bereavement card and seeds they sent to me by post was also a lovely touch.
