Another great staycation for my two dogs! Just one night on this occasion as we were going to be busy. They love seeing Scott and are always excited when we arrive. Clean, tidy, and always appropriately warm/cool depending on the prevailing climate. I have no problem recommending these Kennels.
When I picked my dog up from this kennels he was in a disgusting shape! He had only been there for 4 days and he'd came back with bloody paws claw marks under his arm pits a bloody scratched nose and to top it of scratches on his neck I had to take him to the vets and I found out he'd lost a kelo of weight whilst being there caused by undernureshment and neglect they even had to give him a steroid shot to help him settle back down!!
Use the boarding kennels for first time ever with our Versace…no problems at all and the pup played with the guy on collection at home time…worried for nothing…will defs use again!!
We have been using Hunwick Kennels for our dogs for roughly 8 years. Both our dogs Nova and Scooby are happy when getting dropped off, and are well looked after by the staff. Scooby our chihuahua is very timid around new people, and Scott has built up a great relationship with scooby making his stay more enjoyable. We would not go anywhere else! booking is easy, and Dropping off/Collecting is a breeze. Thank you Anita and her team.
Our usual kennels were closed so we had to try something new. Booking was straight forward and registration was easy. A deposit was required, which is a departure from what we are used to, and the price slightly more expensive too. Drop off and pick up were fine, though pick up was restricted to a 1 hour window so we had to manage our timing more closely than usual. Good all in all, may well use again in future.
Booked our cat in at 12:15 pm and paid the deposit plus the rest of the fee. Phoned back to cancel the booking as unbeknown to me my wife had made other arrangements, my cancellation was 45 minutes after I paid the fee, was informed that I would lose the £20 deposit. While I completely understand that deposits are taken for a reason I believe it was unjust for me to be charged £20 considering I was told they didn't have any other bookings in so therefore I would say they hadn't turned away any other business. I would expect to lose the deposit had it been a day or a few days after the booking but as I said it was less than 1 hour. Very disappointed and will definitely take my custom elsewhere in future.
Brilliant!! Was really worried about leaving my dog for the first time ever in kennels, he was absolutely fine, I'll definitely use again, and recommend to anyone!
Been using for over 10 years trusted always happy dog to come back too
All of our dogs in last 10 years have been here. Good friendly staff. Dogs happy.
