Wilko has been my go to for various household and DIY products for over 25 years. I shall be sad to see it go. This has always been my first port of call for masonry paint, gloss and household emulsion. Have bought so many things from Wilko over the years, from towels, crockery, cutlery, baking tin essentials, storage boxes, mops, outdoor brooms, stationery like folders and printer paper, DIY essentials like tools, screws and nails, sandpaper, gardening tools, plants and pots and pet food and accessories. So much of my home is filled with Wilko products - the range has always been diverse, good quality and value for money. The heads of this iconic high street staple should hang their heads in shame for mismanaging its finances and day to day running, for destroying its legacy, robbing their loyal, hard working employees of their livelihoods and for the loss to the public of such a great store!
Good range of products and competitive prices. Helpful staff take heavy or bulky items to the back door for car collection. Think their prices have gone up, but still be missed when they close for good.
Went to get fly papers , as they are safer then spraying when doing a lot of food preparation,and wilko's is the only place I can find them.
We had a great experience shopping during Christmas! A wide range of household items and snacks! Amazing choice in books pens and toys!
Lots of stock in store. Very clean. Its a bigger store than my local one. 2 different tills to chose from at either end of the store, which is good! : only down side was it was at a very busy time and only 2 people on the tills.
Have to visit this store from time to time as its the only shop close by to sell deep t light candles, at a really good price. But wouldn't shop here by choice. Always looks a bit neglected, with really limited choice across all departments. Don't get me started about the staff! One or two, especially the youngsters seem polite and helpful, but the older women assistants really can't be bothered by customers.
Really kind, helpful staff. Was shown to an item I couldn't locate. Assistant looked up on the system when the next delivery of an out of stock item was potentially going to be delivered. Excellent customer service.
Still a good old all rounder for most things. Have to be honest that it's never as busy as I'd like to see it. I think they need to 'upskill' to keep up with the likes of B&M, The Range etc. It would be a shame to see such an old favourite fall by the way side.
Not a great experience on Friday when I popped in to get a few bits. I went to the self scan till and it said I needed assistance as bought a scraper so needed staff authorisation, I went and found 2 members of staff standing chatting and asked if they could help me and walked back to the till. I waited.... and waited... I went back to the 2 members of staff who were continuing their conversation and asked once again if someone could help me. Usually have no issues in this store so was a little disappointed.
Smallish selection of home and garden goods. Keenly priced. Great location in the Belvoir centre close to car parks. Self service checkouts available too.
