Great service and atmosphere, the bowl of Olives was great, lots of them and a good variety. Lovely crispy, tasty fries. The pizza really had that stone baked taste and was delicious, the Rocket salad was the best I have had with a generous helping of riserva cheese. We will be back.Food: 5/5
Fantastic customer service the starter of baked brie was really nice and the pizza was delicious and just right. The desserts especially the Lotus Biscoff cheesecake was very mourish and I could have eaten 2 or more.
Overall: good experience, good food, good value, nice and clean place to eat. The good: Menu was available online so was aware of options as one of my party was a vegetarian. Food was very good , well presented. Waitress very attentive and didn't come over apart form twice to check - some places don't leave you alone but that's my preference. Value : prices are what you would expect for a sit down place £12-£15 for mains. Good size of meals even the kids meals. The not so goodto make it 5*: these are not picking yes I know but as I had such an amazing experience had to really look at it. The menus where paper and some of them had been used a few times as one was dirty, I would of liked to of seen that replaced but it's a small thing and didn't detract. When we ordered drinks they came back to check 2 times as I'm guessing the person who wrote the order wasn't that clear. The 10% automatically added to the bill for service charge I was aware of this and it is noted you can ask to take it off - I left it on as the "tip". It can catch you out of your not aware. When we first arrived had to come in the side door due to construction work and there was no greater had to walk round to the bar to find someone. It wasn't very busy so would of expected the greeting stand to of been moved to accommodate the construction and limited access. Vegetarian options: Lots of veg and vegan options clearly labeled on the menu Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu and options Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free alternatives available clearly noted on the menu
Ordered a pizza via Uber eats and wasn’t disappointed. Tasted like a proper stone baked pizza with fresh ingredients. I’d recommend and will order again!
Had an excellent pizza here tonight, pizzas are wood fired, freshly prepared & are excellent. Otherwise a really good, varied menu. The restaurant was busy with parties etc, & there was a good atmosphere. The two ladies who looked after us, welcomed us, & were very friendly, we felt well looked after. Would certainly dine there again.
So the decor of the restaurant was lovely and I can't complain about the cleanliness, that was also spot on. I will comment on the fact that the waitress who served is didn't say a word the whole time we were there. I felt I had to speak for her. No condiments were offered and the waiting time for food was far too long. When the food did arrive, the calzone had ingredients in which wernt specified on the menu and the chips were very minimal for just short of £5! There was also a 10% surcharge automatically added onto the bill. Overall, I wasn't happy with the service or food and I won't be going back!
Nice place. Food was OK and staff were really nice. Be careful, tho as the sneaky gets add a 10% service charge to the bill, regardless if whether your experience was great or sh!te. Vegetarian options: I saw a garlic bread Kid-friendliness: I saw a kid
Have been here numerous times, and in the past it was always extremely good. This occasion however was noticeably different. The cooking and also ingredients didn't seem nearly up to the usual mark. The service also was not as good and we had to remind the waiter for a drink that had been ordered. Food wise the burgers were burnt, and the passata in the pasta dishes all 4 wasn't the quality it had been in the past. It was as though chefs had changed or ingredients used modified. The pepper and mushroom with goats cheese penne was really poor and contained around 4 pieces of mushroom in total. I cook quite a lot of Italian food and could have made what was presented for a few pounds bar cheese without any effort at all. The pasta dishes I had eaten here previously were excellent. What's happened??? This review is posted as I feel a little ripped off this time round. May give it one more go next time up but will see what else is around.
A bit of a confusing evening. Ran out of some beers and some items on the menu. Must have had a busy Christmas Market Day. But all was resolved. The food was good and the were hot . Will be back next year. Cheerz
The staff are welcoming and professional theres nothing wrong the management here, the issue is the menu and the food, we felt cheated to be honest, the food is not quality for money, the portion sizes are small, the ingredients are bland and cheap, then to top it off there's a service charge added to the bill which didn't add well to the overall experience which, lets be honest, is about value for money. Unfortunately I wouldn't return, but it's not the staff's fault.
