Great service, very friendly staff...myself and my husband both had a pie, Steak and Ale with veg and hand cut chips and Chicken, Ham and leek with veg and hand cut chips. Genuine home cooked food, good atmosphere would highly recommend.
Wow! Totally amazing! The bar snacks were fabulous! Really nice drinks & fantastic service. I loved everything about my experience, I would 100% recommend this lovely bar, it's at the bottom the main street so could easily be missed, but it's worth the effort to go a, few extra yards!
Super local pub. Very friendly and good selection of beer. Hand cut fries were great.

5 star quality staff and food at The Castle Inn where we had tea on 26/10/22. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much for new and regular customers. The food was top notch too and the puddings we ate feeling full now. If you are visiting Skipton on your caravanning excursion pay a visit and are dog friendly with treats on hand too. We will be revisiting in the future. Bravo to the staff and cook for the brilliant atmosphere of the pub too, it was like visiting a local pub.
Had lunch with a friend and the food was amazing!!! Steak and ale pie with chips and vegetables and of a huge Yorkshire pudding and gravy. My friend had the chicken and leek pie, perfect pastry and the steak melted in my mouth! Fantastic manageress made us feel like regulars, if I lived in Skipton I would be! Highly recommended sorry my clumsy mate spilled the gravy and left a mess! We will be back!!!!!
Lovely old fashioned pub, with a great selection of beers, can't beat it.
Busy pub, very popular with dog walkers. Nice menu ,good food and good choice of beers.
