Went here for some lunch on quite a quiet day and it was lovely. The waitress we had I can’t remember her name but she had blonde hair, i think was so helpful and chatty. The service was really good and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely amazing, I didn’t know what to expect because my boyfriend recommended it but I was really blown away and we cleared our plates. Very child friendly too, we took our 7 month old daughter and the waitress was very fond of her giving compliments & we also saw other children colouring. Would recommend and will definitely come again when returning to Chelmsford :
I attended last night the 7th December as part of a work Christmas meal and found the atmosphere very lovely, the staff all super friendly and helpful and very hard working and the food I had was absolutely beautiful, cooked to perfection and delicious.Food: 5/5
We like the food and atmosphere in Wildwood, it’s nothing fancy but yummy and lovely setting for lunch. Yesterday we went in and my young daughter out of the blue was quite unwell. The staff were absolutely incredible. They came straight over and were so helpful and kind about it when I was getting a bit stressed out and trying to clean up. Isabella and Chinju, you are amazing people and so so kind to me and my family, I can’t thank you enough!!!
Called in for lunch with work.. lovely menu for lunchtime.. I had garlic bread and a burger. Both very tasty. We had a great time atmosphere was great as were the staff. Highly recommend x

Nice as always, quite busy like usual on this visit. The food is also to a quite high standard with a nice range of choice from pasta to pizza to items straight from the grill. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is in a very nice location just set back from the river. Never had any problems when visiting this restaurant. Overall a good restaurant, just not mind-blowing in any ways Vegetarian options: Large selection of vegetarian and vegan alternatives that are available at request. Haven’t been for a while, had 2 meals and starter, prawns very good, pizza very good, and minute steak and salad was ok,steak ok but needed a sauce there probably was one but didn’t ask so that was our problem. service was excellent and staff were very polite and friendly will definitely go again and recommend, toilets need bit of a spruce up bit dated but clean.
Had a nice lunch here with my wife and son. The portion sizes are plenty big enough and the quality of food is decent. I have been here a few times and it is pretty consistent in what it provides. The staff were attentive and helped entertain my 4 year old. I would go back.
My meal was delicious. But my Mum's burger only had 1 patty when it should have 2 and didn't come with the extra bacon that was ordered. They adjusted the bill for the bacon but that was about it. The staff were friendly enough. But the toilets were appalling, the toilet roll holders didn't work and they were just generally untidy with bits of toilet roll all over the floor. Disappointing and surprising seeing as the downstairs and seating area looked so clean and we'll presented.
