This is a lovely simple site in the heart of the country side. Good clean toilet and showers. Lots of nice pubs within walking distance and nice hosts too.
Fantastic location with lovely views across rolling farmland with the 2 canals immediately adjacent. Friendly reception from the owners and immaculate, simple, toilets, shower and washing up area. Great area for walking or cycling.
Risky early April but absolutely fine pitching on the higher ground. Friendly welcome on arrival , relaxing and quiet spot by the canal. Dogs allowed to run in the adjacent field no livestock Walked into the village really pleasant stopover.

Serenity! Quiet and lots of bird life including resident chickens. Perfect place to escape with canal next to site and shortish walk to a pub.
It is only small but very peaceful and well managed. The shower and toilet are kept in good clean condition. Ideal location for exploring the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.
We stayed in the canalside cottage. It is a lovely place for two. Very well kitted out. The welcome pack was much more than we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and tried many walks along the canal towpaths, both Grand Union and Oxford canals.
Had a lovely stay! The hosts are very welcoming and kind the two feline hosts were also fantastic and friendly, the room we had was cosy and clean, very homey! The pond outside had some cute ducks and the chickens walking around were fantastic - so lovely!
We returned today after a wonderful relaxing week at Wigrams Cottage. The cottage was perfect, and despite our plans of exploring local areas the weather was exceptionally good so we spent every afternoon and evening relaxing in the garden watching the boats going by, and chatting with passers by. The dogs absolutely loved their holiday too and I think they have grown webbed feet with all the swimming in the canal! The local pub is just 15 mins walk away and the food and staff there are so accommodating well worth a visit or two, so is the village shop which sells the most amazing bread! We will definitely be back. Going to book tomorrow for next year.
Beautiful location. We stayed in the recently renovated to a very high standard, Canalside Cottage. Welcome basket of goodies, lovely touch. Owners live next door but never bothered us. You are allowed to enjoy all areas of the land. Tranquil and interesting place to visit. It is pleasant to see the animals roaming free, unfortunately our dogs wanted to chase them and for obvious reasons our dogs had to be leaded at all times. Well done Ben and Elaine...would return.
