We stayed on this site in the non-electric field in our camper-van on the way back from visiting family. It’s a really lovely site. The field gets sun during the day and evening when it’s sunny, the showers and toilets are clean. They have a pond with lovely ducks and fish in it. The site is really close to a beautiful canal walk, with a nice stroll to two fabulous establishments The Napton Cidery and The Folly pub. We had a really enjoyable stay - recommended.
Lovely family orientated site well placed for exploring the local area and the Oxford canal. The toilets and facilities are adequate for the price. This is our first visit but we will definitely be back soon.
We stayed at this site this May for a few nights in our camper van whilst visiting relatives, the site is well managed and with clean facilities. Previously stayed here some years ago several times and enjoyed our stay then, and would recommend this site again. We I’ll be back again.
We've stayed for 3 nights, and it's been great! We had trouble with our electrics when we arrived, but the owner was very understanding when we tripped the entire field! The shower block is tidy and useable, and the water was warm!:The fishing pond was a great place for my daughter to learn to fish, and she had a great time! Short walk to the canal, and 2 miles along the towpath to Napton for pub, shop and cider farm was an easy walk. We'll be back next year.
Great site, good amenities and very clean. We had an enjoyable stay
Excellent campsite. Very roomy. There are lots of seasonal caravans on the site, but still plenty of room for tourers and tents. We stayed for 2 weeks, and would definitely go again. Showers were always hot, and toilets were clean and well stocked. The canal is a short walk away, and the nearest village, Napton, which has a very good convenience store/cafe is only a 5 minute drive away. Nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes drive too.
My favourite go to campsite for a reliably relaxing weekend or week away from the hustle and bustle of life, no road noise, lots of animals for the kids to look at.. I've been coming here for over 20 years and have every intention to carry on camping..!
Great site with good facilities. Just a short walk down to the beautiful South Oxford Canal.
Loved it here. Great choice for gluten free and very knowledgeable staff.
This is my Happy Place! Proper camping, no set pitches, toilets, shower which are cleaned daily and water. Always a friendly welcome, lovely location with lovely canal side walks. Working farm so lots of animals to see. Simply a great place to escape
