We stayed in a Woodland Lodge in the Knights Village which was great fun. Our 7 year old loved the medieval themed room as well as the castle itself! The room itself is in good condition, clean and comfortable. A small fridge would have been helpful but not essential. It’s good value for money with your accommodation, castle tickets and breakfast included. We opted to go into town for dinner, rather than the buffet at the castle restaurant. Highly recommend as a fun activity for those with young children!
Great location for Warwick castle and to visit Warwick. Very castle themed with a big knight on horseback in the foyer to greet you. The rooms are ok, but the family room bunk beds are really only for small kids. For teenagers you will need full beds. There is a buffet breakfast which indexes well on quantity and the room is also themed. I think for a family with small kids it's great, but not so much for the rest of us.
Not designed for a couple to visit but was pretty nice.nWas very like a travel lodge but themed to medieval times.nVery clean and spacious.nRoom had a double bed, a bunk bed, pull out bed and a travel cot all in one room.nIf you travel with a family, this would be a great place to stay.nBit of a walk from the hotel to the entrance, but all on the grounds.nnBreakfast was basic but everything was good enough.nHot water dispenser was very different to use, Which is obviously good to prevent people getting burnt, but also frustrating as it requires a bit of knack to use.
The children loved it. The program started at 5:00 pm and lasted until 8:00 pm. The children had a lot of fun. At the end of the program, the children were gathered together to listen to the teacher's storytelling. The next morning, we were given a thoughtful breakfast. It made my holiday wonderful.
Wow as a treat at end of school holiday for 3 boys it was amazing for all ages including mum and Grandma. The spectacular bird show and the beautiful glamping site could not be bettered. However when we were offered a free upgrade to the new hotel we were more than impressed. Beautifully room decoration and a spectacular entrance with the interactive life-size horse and Knight how could you not be in awe. We booked an evening meal which was very good value for money and superbly cooked food with ample variety.nI am big into customer care and can honestly say every member of staff were friendly and professional, in particular the lady who showed us the hotel room options and the restaurant staff excelled. Well done all what a fantastic experience and well worth the money. Our only disappointment was that sadly the jousting had finished for the season. The boys loved the zog play area and the maze.
