A great place to visit as a family or just as a couple. Lots of things to keep everyone interested. It's useful to look at what's happening before your visit so you can plan what to do and when. We spent easily 4 hours here, please note the parking limited around the castle. So you may have to walk to the castle during the busy periods. I recommend using St.Nicholas Car Park next to the church, which is around 10 minute walk to the castle.

Wonderful accommodation. Warm and comfortable it's the perfect place to spend a night. A one night stay gives you plenty of time to explore the castle at your leisure. The nearby restaurant offers you a hearty evening meal with entertainment, the Knights are friendly, fantastic and entertaining. Breakfast was also good quality and plentiful. I highly recommend a visit!

Warwick castle really is a great day out. Granted there isn't quite as much going on in winter as there is in summer but we have enjoyed both seasons just as much. Given it's owners I was expecting more of an Alton Towers experience, and the are a few familiar items: tokens for the car park, plenty of food stands etc, but they don't detract from the experience. You get the feeling that they really are trying to preserve the place and frankly that takes money, so you need to get as many people in as possible. The live displays are not to be missed so check the timings online or when you arrive (not seen the jousting or the dungeons so can't comment on those).

One of the friendliest pleasant micro brewerys to visit and drink in. Staff are always friendly, smiling and happy to serve. Clearly know the beers and ales, have information on every think they sell ready for you when you ask. Superb at table service, does get very busy as only has small amount of room, but worth packing in or waiting for seats as the beers and real ales are superb. Also a lot of carry outs, which are varied and excellent to drink. Well worth a visit at any time of the day, highly recommend as my favourite pub for many a year.

Very nice not too crowded place. Come prepared for lots of spiral stairs :) a pleasure for the view for the landscape, beautiful gardens by the river... Shame a few birds tied for show which broke my heart (one of them an 🦉 trying to sleep in daylight). Other than that the place is very looked after, great collection of objects and wax figures to see. The tours are perfect to get to know a bit of the story of the castle... The inside tour was great! What a nice guide, Ben I believe was his name. I bought tickets online 16£ per person with the guides, visit to the dungeon, that's got characters and visits inside, and the birds exhibition; which compared to the price of attractions in London is more than fair enough. The place has a buffet inside and a restaurant outside not too overpriced either so nice for a good break as to see the whole building you need the whole day and if you like history and see everything carefully and read the signs like me maybe a second visit is worth. Toilets were available inside the building, mostly clean and doesn't look the ancient looks of the castle. A great very recommended visit. Worth the drive from Reading
