Wickes from Grimsby is a store where you can really find everything we need in our lives and even more than we could imagine at the best quality and the people of the staff are exceptionally at their jobs especially Colin
Generally good - generally good service and well stocked but can’t get past the fact I got a parking ticket for staying in the car park for just over an hour. Very disappointed!
We went in to price up a kitchen. They have a nice range. We sat down with a member of staff and talked about what we wanted, she was really helpful and professional. Great service. Unfortunately a week later we got a parking ticket in the post because we was there an hour and fifteen minutes. So for that reason I will not be purchasing our kitchen from wickes.
Got exactly what I found online, at offer prices, could've clicked&collected in an hour but chose to walk there sooner. Only issue was clerk scanning item more than once, charging me then refunding me. Human error but mildly annoying
Hit by a parking fine for being 12 minutes over the limit. Signage over the parking restrictions was not obvious. Someone with money to spare should consider taking this to court under the signage not being clear enough.
Compared prices for garden products and came out a lot cheaper. Staff very helpful and even sold me an air conditioning unit.
Great place for diy goods,staff are extremely helpful and not to pricey.A very good delivery service also. update 23/02/22 here we are again more DIY material required to fit new bathroom cabinets. Got everything I needed as normal with this store , happy , it also has ample car parking
Disappointed to say the least. Went to look at bathroom suites. Spoke to a guy there , who first didn’t even acknowledge us, we had to approach him. We asked for some advice, we was looking a a bathroom suit for a house we are selling... we explained we didn’t want anything really expensive ‘but’ didn’t want anything low end.. His advice shocked us.. he said if you’re selling don’t get it from there as all his stuff was ‘ high end ‘ not even asking our budget he told us to go to B&Q. Maybe because we wasn’t looking our best as we was in work wear... Never judge someone’s appearance our budget was well within his reach and now we will go elsewhere who’s happy to help.
Very good DIY shop.
Wickes has always been one of my Go To merchants for building materials. Prices are as keen as most builder's merchants, if not better & unlike most DIY stores, they give realistic trade discount.
