Went in looking for a thing, asked for help, thing got found, I bought the thing. Everything was perfect. Great service, thing was rare as well, B&Q didn't have it, so good stock as well. Nice experience overall.
We recently used Steve Hill, Design Consultant at Wickes Gravesend. Steve has been with the company for years and his expertise clearly shows.nFrom start to finish Steve was amazing, a professional throughout who gave us the kitchen we dreamed of.nnWe had a lot of work to do and quite a difficult space to work with but Steve was able to give us a whole range of options and explained everything clearly.nnHe answered every question even my repeated panicked ones really quickly and nothing was ever too much trouble.nFor some people it's just an interaction or a job, but it felt like Steve really cared. We wouldn't think twice about using him again.nnCustomer Service are a nightmare!nCustomer service and the DX delivery service - the complete opposite. I wouldn't even call them a service. So unhelpful. DX were uncontactable through phone, email and live chat after hours of trying and when items vanished, apparently the mystery team we needed were never working.nnWickes Customer Service really undermines the hard work that Steve was doing and it was nothing short of frustrating. If there was a way we could do everything through Steve and not need to deal with the customer service people, we would have.nnThe only reason we would use Wickes again would be because of Steve and his hard work.
Parking space is massive and convenient.ngood prices. good availabiliy. massive store to walk through.nstore was recently refurbished 2 years ago so has a mini bath show room.nalways neat store with good availability of products.nsometimes cheaper than other stores.nstaff are helpful and polite.nclose to the town centre.
Attempted to get a price for a new kitchen, supplied a quote and plan i already had. Lady who does kitchen design wasnt helpful, explained i need the quote urgent but didnt recieve it after 4 days. Also provided same information to Howden who done it within the hour. Wish we hadn't of bothered.nHad the lady from wickes designed and priced our previous homes kitchen last year. She turned up and didnt really have a clue and let us basically tell her what we wanted. When we asked for ideas, she didn't give any input whatsoever so we went elsewhere.nThought we would give benefit of doubt and try again but unfortunately the same lady was just as unhelpful as before. Would definitely go elsewhere like benchmarx or howdens if you want a proper designer who gives there ideas and opinions.
Lovely champs in here. The entrance is cheeky though which I'll solve myself with Google... almost got lost. But I likey the place for my DIY things.
