I am not happy to give Wicks Eastbourne a one star today , the customer toilets , Baby changing Room where Disgusting. I ask to talk to a duty manager who need training in how to deal with customer. I asked her how often do the toilets get clean , saying to her ones a day ? She said yes , I said it doesn't look like the toilet had been clean for few days and was in desperate need of a deep clean. This was at 10am . I glad I didn't have a baby to change there nappie today as you may of put them at risk. I went to Tesco Eastbourne much better. I call head office spoken four customer service staff , Which not one was aware of how often the customer toilets should be clean . The Eastbourne manager call me back to say how sorry the toilet had not been clean. I said I was amazed the toilets had not been clean and no one is back checking. His tell me they will closed the toilets as they do not have staff to keep these clean. Not great for there customer. I was told by there store manager they should be clean everytime someone come out from using the toilet. This is there policy during covid. Just not the case. Let's hope you don't need the toilet in a hurry and they are clean if you are lucky enough to be open for you. See the loo brush fit for the bin. No holder for loo roll, not safe practice. No soap to clean your hands. . COVID on the increase in Eastbourne - No surprise at Wickes.
I was assigned a Contract Manager to oversea refurbishment of my apartment, he was totally useless and very rude, and talked of with contempt by tradesmen employed for the work. “Don’t expect anything from him”. Last week I needed help from Plumber as bathroom/kitchen drains were very slow to empty, and clearly in need of unblocking. The Plumber was nothing short of astounded to see the drainage pipes were a total mess and because of the configuration, draining water was expected to flow upwards. Would not employ Wicks under ANY circumstances, steer well clear.
Absoloutely terrible online customer service. Eastbourne store hasnt got a clue. Part order delivered. Still waiting on remaining items 5 days later. Wickes have reschueduled this delivery 3 times. Each day that it has been arranged for they have failed to deliver the remainder of the order. Live Chat would not phone the store to chase. Live Chat were not helpful in any way. Wickes Eastbourne have provided zero help and dont even answer their own phones when calling them. Why should I be chasing 3 sheets of P5 Chipboard when your store is 10 minutes away from my project? Load it on to a van and get it delivered. Whats hard about that? B&Q it is then.
Wickes is easy to park and get your building building stuff the shelves are a little bit low on goods otherwise it good
I must say whenever I have visited Wickes there always seem to be plenty of stock..Not huge range like B&Q but always got what I needed
A bright store that is exceptionally laid out.... with a recent refurb for the kitchen/bathroom area. The garden section has a wide range of products and staff are reasonably knowledgeable. With Van Parking spaces outside and wide till areas this is particularly well suited for trade as well as non-trade customers. A great DIY store....
Called in this morning to buy a water butt. So helpful in there. Asked for someone to carry it to my car and immediately had a volunteer. Brilliant service. Thank you

Good shopping experience. Easy parking and helpful knowledgeable staff. Web site confirmed goods were in stock before my visit. Could ask fir no more.
Very efficient staff members. Happy to help when I first entered the store with a pick up enquiry. Social distancing measures in place too unlike other similar offerings. The staff were incredibly helpful and even assisted me to lift heavy products into the boot of a large car. Friendly and courteous. Easy online pick up. Was in and out within 10 minutes. Thank you.
