Very helpful staff, every time I visit they are always chatty and helpful.
Great service. Ordered a battery charger on Boxing Day evening and it was ready for collection when the store opened at 8 am the following day. As it happened, my car battery had completed drained by then charging fault on a 50 year old car so they let me plug the charger in and charge the battery for 45 minutes so that I could get home.
Went in latish on Saturday 26th Feb looking for corded breaker for light breaking out of concrete to allow setting of fence post, Alan most helpful, polite, built great rapport, I really trusted him and bought what he recommended for delivery Tuesday Thanks Alan I will come back when I have further need Mark Pybus
Normally I go to Screwfix I tried today Service was poor the 2 lady was working they are not friendly at all , young girl she’s grumpy I ask a couple of costumer they said always like that , poor girl not suitable for that job , never go back there till she works there
Great service and friendly staff from the moment I walked through the door. Served by Emma who was knowledgeable and very helpful about the products I was after. Easily best service I’ve had from a hardware store.

The prices are competitive, but the customer service is shameful. Most of the staff are extremely rude, including Kat/Cat sighing and huffing as they aggressively sweep the floor near your feet, slamming the doors. They make it very obvious they despise you, and this was thirty seconds after entering the store for the first time. Customer sales assistant John was outright rude, intolerant and purposefully unhelpful on severally occasions, like a stroppy child, lying about stock levels, and lying about the return policy before back tracking several times without an apology. I’ve never experienced service this poor, anywhere. This company needs to train the staff in customer service.
Had stock and accessories on an cold early Sunday morning: the two gents were more than helpful. Can't ask for more.
I can't relate to any poor service comments, just not my findings. I'd say great service great prices and very good stock levels, I order in advance for collection and its always ready, highly recommended.
My wife popped in to pick up a catalogue and wad helped by a very helpfull member of staff
