Hi everyone if you are a send parent and your child has autism do not attempt to bring them to this store as I went there today to take my sons to the soft play area and I was told to leave because my sons are autistic and was too loud when I was trying to leave they all surrounded me and my sons with security it had left my sons having melts down today because of this! It really was disgusting how they treated children today they was around us like a pack of wolves I have video footage of this!
I personally don't like shopping at the DIY store and I decided to never buy anything from there ever again. The manager was rude to me, and all I asked was a simple question, most staff working there have attitude problem. Pricing is constantly incorrect. I said it 3 times now in the past month but no one have done anything about it. Staff just don't care, they hate their jobs. Yacht varnish scans as 3.99 at the till, but the price on the shelve says 2.99... for a few months now. I said it to the blond young guy at the till but he could not care less. Zero effort whatsoever. Of course he charged me £3.99 ‍ if you shop there always check the price as I had to point out the discrepancy so many times it's ridiculous. And they talk to each other via radio like you are a criminal or something for pointing this out it's hilarious.nThe candy shop is nice, my daughter likes sweets from there, I like the coffee shop and the kids play area, however the floor is very cold, and you can only walk in your socks, other than that it's good for the price.
ESK Warehouse in Eastbourne is a fantastic one-stop shop for home essentials, decorations, and even pet supplies. I took my granddaughter here recently with my daughter in law.nFirstly, it looks an eyesore outside, a bit of tlc and maybe paint could be used I’m sure you sell paint . Secondly, it is absolutely freezing inside, even at the cafe / soft play area, although I was sat in outside furniture I wasn’t expecting to feel like I was sat out in the horrid cold too, my crappy cup of coffee didn’t warm me up either, if cold cafe’s, cold coffees and a dusty run down soft play is what you’re looking for, ESK Eastbourne is the place.nAll the Christmas items looked naff and run down, don’t get me wrong I love nostalgia and all but Jesus, the Christmas lights look like they’re dragging themselves through another painful Christmas since the 70’s, maybe an issue with actually selling the sad looking lights.nThe staff were no where to be found, except one blonde haired lad at the check out who was slumped over the til and looked like he didn’t want to be there, and lastly there was some girls running round esk with Halloween masks on playing pranks on other customers, but with no staff to be found what could be done?nDefinitely wouldn’t bother going to ESK Eastbourne again, Homebase / the range seems to have better quality products and items and although McDonald’s is crappy, at least their coffees are warm and seating areas too.
Rating the santa experience. Nice little crafts before the santa visit but felt very rushed through and didn't get long at each table to do the crafts before a que formed behind. As soon as you walk into the santas grotto you can smell the stale cigarette smell from santa! Very unprofessional and esk shouldn't be hiring a santa who smokes as the kids won't believe it's real and made it hard to breathe being around him...
