Good store. Location wise bit busy to get into and come out. Lots of parking and other stores. Prices are bit high, short of staff i belive. Suitable for people with disabiliries and chidern. Not sure if they have other facilities like toilts. Have small place for kids. Needs more attension to call back their customer when they ask for their details. Over all not bad place for shopping.
Sheridan please see independent kitchen installers measurements from the same plan we signed in store. They put the measurements onto the worktop, look at where the sink should be compared to your measurements. So you got it wrong and need to rectify.
Bought my bathroom tiles and a lot other stuff from here. Good amount of stock. They need more trolleys outside. Most of my visits I am unable to find a decent one.
Build delayed due to component missing & Wickes refusing to help: We spent nearly £23,000 with Wickes for a kitchen, en-suite bathroom, family bathroom and WC. An expensive component worth nearly £500 by itself a chrome shower/tap was not delivered and Wickes is now washing their hands off the problem and saying we are on our own and that we need to resolve directly with Bristan the supplier! We expected better to be honest. Our kitchen is due to be delivered next week and we are really worried based on this bad experience
I started going there since March 21, when I embarked on full house upgradation project. The staff had been nice, welcoming and helpful all along till this morning. Today's visit made me feel like otherwise. I ordered few bits online for 'click and collect' and needed couple of bits to see in store before buying. It must 've been 20-25 minutes passed me placing the order when I got there. The lady attended was kind and helpful. A couple of minutes later another lady stopped whatever she was doing and came down only to tell that I can't just place an order and walk into the store, I told her, I am not pushing to rush to my order and happy to wait and in the meantime I shall collect some other bits. She said to teach me a lesson she will do other orders before mine, i said fine. Then another guy came from somewhere to tell me off the same thing. Finally, the person who handed me over my order told me off for the same thing. Not sure what was wrong in me going to store to pick up other bits while they prepare my order.
I was at the store this afternoon looking for a decent sander, the one I did find was out of stock and was not sure which would be the best product, at this point I asked a gentleman by the name of Connor who was at the check in desk he assisted me with my enquiry. He pointed out to me the Wickes brand that I was not too keen on, but once home I tried this and it is a great product and value for money as I was told by Connor that the product is great and he was right. Once again thank you for the time you spent looking for the items I wanted and very good customer service experience, it makes a very big difference to a customer who is in store and is made to feel welcome. Overall great service and product will return.
Generally decent quality stuff at a reasonable price. The sharp sand is superb. And timber seemed straighter, less knotty, and cheaper than local builders merchants.
Brand new.Very clean and tidy. Some of the staff seem a bit clueless in regards to being knowledgeable about building or construction but do try their best. Fairly friendly. Choice of product on shelves is limited but most things available from stock room as shown in available catalogues a bit like Screwfix! : If a tradesman like me get signed up for the trader discount off anything above £20 10% which comes in very handy. Could be better but could be infinitely worse. 2p
Not bad - good kitchen showroom and service. Smaller items need to be ordered via an Argos catalogue type system which makes it a bit difficult to see what exactly you are buying if you like seeing and feeling items before purchasing.
New store, very orgainised and easy to find the items. Most of the items are in stock. Plenty of parking including 4 disabled spaces next to store. Staff are friendly and helpful too With respect to covid-19 situation, the store is organised well with helpful staff outside to limit the number of people entering stores and spaces are marked out according to government rules.
