I have had lunch here quite a few times but have never left feeling as if I have enjoyed myself. The food is acceptable at best but the service has always been slow. I don't think I have seen the same managers more than once let alone the same waiting staff such is the turn over of staff. Despite the place being almost empty, the meal takes ages to arrive. I now avoid the place and go elsewhere for lunch. Such a shame as Radford Semele isn't blessed with many eating houses.

Really good food, lovely vegi options which is always a plus. Classic British pub set in a scenic location. Would recommend.

Unfortunately, out of approx 8 visits in the last year We've only had one occasion not to complain. We've finally taken the decision not to return to our local for food. When you are on the way there wondering what is going to go wrong this time, it shows how bad it is. Food portions are poor, quality is very variable (too often poor) and service very inconsistent. Tonight the rib was tiny and cremated, the drinks bill was wrong, they didn't know what the soup of the day was and they didn't tell us what wasn't available on the menu until we tried to order it. So want to like our local, but been too disappointed too many times now.

Not too impressed. Went for lunch. Had been to two other chef and brewer pubs in the previous 6 months for lunch and used Tesco club card vouchers without any issue. These lovely folks told me I wasn’t entitled to use them for lunchtime lol Hadn’t had any issues the two previous times. Cost me £32 and should have been free apart from the drinks. Be careful and don’t get stung. Shame cus manager was a very nice hospitable fellow.
