Absolutely love this place. Colin and Carley do a fantastic job, brilliant food nowadays, and have created a welcoming atmosphere. Unbeatable for value for the area. 10/10.
New managers are doing their best to turn it around. Food is excellent.
Really has changed for the better. Lisa and Dan have bought the fresh lease of life it has been crying out for. Food has been brought up to scratch, with a new menu on the way. And the beer now tastes as it should. Prices are also unbeatable for Leamington!
Not a fan. Years ago there were some fab owners who did good cheap pub food however since then it has gone through owner to owner. They now have new owners...he was very friendly and the food was ok...very ok. I had "southern chicken" however it was not great, simple food and I think even at £6.50 overpriced. Also it was dead in there and yet there were about 5 dirty tables.. I no longer will be going to the gristmill and instead will be eating elsewhere in Leamington.
Good menu selection with average quality food. Having said that I only ate there twice. Staff is friendly enough but don't go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Just want to say a big thank you!! For the delicious free meal that we had tonight was so perfectly cooked your steaks are truly the best steaks I have ever eaten!! And the strawberry cheesecake out off this world!!! Will definitely be back soon thank you from rhe Soares Family
Food was very nice but plates need to be hoter food was a little cold that was a shame. New management needs locals support so as a local pub survives as it will be a great shame for another local community pub to be turned into flats. So support the new management.
Avoid if you want some nice pub grub! We Have been before and had a okay lunch but this time we went it was horrible the burger was dry with just a southern fried oven chicken breast in a bun no sauce or salad! Waste of money!
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lady serving food went out of her way to find me something suitable to eat as only a carvey left and I am a vegetarian. Food was ok for the price.
Was passing and popped in for some lunch. Lovely pub, made to feel very welcome and the food was excellent. Will be calling in again Angie and Jim mac
