This is my favourite local pub in Leamington. Best value for money eat and drink in Leamington Spa, and the most friendly hosts! I love the outside area. Good to park in the sun if the weather holds. The menu changes regularly and has a good balance of old favourites, standard pub grub and something different. The quality is good, and portions generous, especially the lamb chops and lamb shank. Amazing gravy. The bar has ‘visiting ales’. Always interesting.
Really good Halloumi burger - I mean such a great surprise. Thick piece of halloumi with well cooked portobello mushrooms inside a bun that didn’t fall apart! Beer Atlantic real ale was pretty good too.
What a little gem. On the surface its looks a bit tired but it adds to the character of the place. Brought the family here for a Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. Great food, great portion sizes for those feeling more hungry and great value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and provided great service. We did have a small issue which was unavoidable, a nail had become loose in the seating and was working its way out which caught on a party members trousers. The staff couldn't have been more apologetic. They removed said nail immediately and offered the meal for this person for free without being asked! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back
A damp Thursday evening for our cycling club Christmas night out. 1st stop The New Inn. A really nice old fashioned back street pub with a reputation for a fantastic pint. It didn't disappoint. A great selection of ales .
Excellent local pub with lovely staff. Can't recommend this pub enough, friendly and very accommodating with a great beer garden and is also dog friendly. You won't be disappointed.
Took my wife for a Sunday lunch the food was amazing and plenty of it the staff were friendly very welcoming would recommend this pub for a pleasant experience
Great pub fish and chips. Excellent Sunday roast. The beer garden is wonderful, and we'll kitted out, including covered space and heaters.
Lovely pub known for their Roasts. As someone avoiding meat, I thought this may be a challenge, but their Nut Roast loaf was fantastic! Huge serves, delicious tastes. Wash down with a real Ale, lovely way to lunch on a rainy day. Only 5 minute walk from the canal, so boaters - moor at the bridge by The Fusiliers who suggested it as they don't do dining, it's well worth the short walk.
I have visited this pub over several years to meet for Sunday lunch with a large group of friends. Our meals have always been fantastic! Great choice of roasts, plenty of lovely vegetables and trimmings and great puds. The portions are very generous, the atmosphere convivial and the staff are always helpful and charming. It's a great little traditional pub and every time we go it's full. That really says it all. A real little Leamington gem!
Tasty pub food. Keep it up please! Will go again
