I was attending a family event in the lounge of the hotel.It was very clean & looked to be recently refurbished. Staff were friendly enough & food etc served was good also. I would go back to try out the restaurant sometime.

There were 31 of us here for a Christmas lunch. The crispy duck starter was a lovely starter. This was followed by Rib of Beef, succulent beef, didn't need a knife, it just fell off the bone. Finished with a dark indulgent chocolate sweet. The portions were much more than adequate. Well worth the cost. There were other choices which all looked great and the comments were all favourable.

We ordered the Nachos Burgers. No nachos in sight. Unexpectedly it came as a bean burger which was still quite nice. Good friendly service!

Built in the 70's it still has the look and feel of the era (loving the flameproof ceiling tiles). It's a budget hotel settled in a quiet area and a handy access to Aberdeen. Rooms are clean and cosy. Restaurant food is good and prices are reasonable for the are with Brewdog on the menu as the brewery is just up the road. Nice log burning fire helps give a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are really nice, friendly and helpful.

Good food. I'm a bit piggy so could have done with bigger portions but overall not too bad for the cost.
