Excellent nights stay at the Newmachar Hotel. The room had a large comfortable bed  and a nice ensuite. We had a good dinner in the evening and a very substantial breakfast. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A very pleasant experience .

The food was great, we could take fault it. Unfortunately service let the side down. Long waits between being given the menu and being asked of we would like to order. Then again a long wait for plates to be cleared once finished and pudding menu offered and order taken. We felt the staffs main objective was to just tidy up and get up out ASAP. We will definitely be back though.

Very friendly staff and a big bucket of kids toys which was a nice touch. Burger wasn't great, but not terrible. Sticky toffee pudding though was lovely. Will definitely come again.

The hotel is very nice and tidy, the staff though a bit on the slow side at time have been great but best of all the food was amazing!
