This is the 1st time I have Stayed here, up in Aberdeen for a course. The rooms are a great size, immaculately kept,beds are very comfy. Check in was easy,staff are great,very professional and friendly. The food was outstanding,very tasty,just the right sized portions. Will definitely be asking to stay here again if imhave another course.

Mediocre meal that turned out to be very disappointing mainly due to abysmal staff service and attitude.nA table of 11 people including two children, orders by one waitress for 1 starter, 9 main courses and two children’s meals then a long wait, only for another waitress who serves two child's meals along with one starter of “prawns” but instead of serving to the person who ordered it she gives it to an elderly lady at the other end of a long table who had indeed ordered prawns as in scampi for her main meal. We then waited and waited until the kids had nearly finished their meals before they started to serve main courses and clear the table so we asked the question where was my starter and was told we only ordered one starter and it had been served ye right but to the wrong person who thought she was eating what she had ordered. So again requested my starter only to be served a few minutes later with my main course by another waitress which I refused as I still wanted my starter, the waitress then got a bit stroppy and said something like “so I have to take this back to the kitchen”. So I had to wait for my starter as others ate their mains. Then as they were finishing I finally got my main course.nBy this time we were all getting sick of the service as we had been there for around two hours so could  not be bothered with the hassle of ordering a sweet so it was a coffee and left it at that.nMyself my food was good enough, it was piping hot and tasty but in general the meals were poor, fish and chips served warm, venison very tough, tacos with not enough shells 3 small shells for the filling that was supplied with them and certainly nobody had big portions of anything apart from the kids meals.nEven the kids thought it weird that they had nearly finished their meals and everyone around them had nothing.nIt was my first time back to this restaurant for many years and it will be many years before I return, in future I will stick to the Greentrees

We booked here for food before going to see Girls Aloud. Was excellent service & food was delicious. I’d highly recommend here & will most certainly be back.

Food was ok. Tiny portion. But….£8 for a small glass of wine!?!?nnI ordered roast beef. One giant Yorkshire pudding. About a potato worth of roast potatoes. A handful of mixed boiled veg. Two slices of beef.nA small glass of house red wine.

Was here for my works Christmas lunch on Friday 15th December 63 of us and what excellent service we had. The food was also excellent. It was all nice and relaxed and there was no pushing us to get out when the food was finished. Will certainly be back again next year. Well done to all working here.
