All I can say it it was an excellent experience. Waitress was friendly & helpful, my husband was happy as an excellent selection of well kept real ale. The food was amazing, I tried Battered haddock and it was so delicious, crispy, fresh batter. It was the best I have ever tasted. I can't praise it enough. - have been again and it was just as good
Not been here for a meal since it re opened to a traditional pub, it’s our local and we couldn’t be happier it’s back an better than ever. 3 courses an couldn’t fault one thing. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty! Duck starter was amazing and a large portion, scampi was to die for, the haddock was massive and burger was one of the best my husband has tasted. Staff were friendly and pleasant, wasn’t too busy being a week day so was lovely to enjoy a quite meal. Beer festival in June, walking distance from home we can’t wait to enjoy many more meals an events back with our favourite pub
Had lunch here today it was very nice. The best stake and ale pie the pastry was lovely as was the stake, mashed potato was great as was the veg . The staff are very friendly and helpful very nice inside and out a very large garden . Looking forward to the summer so I can sit in the garden with a nice beer . I would recommend The White Hart with no worries .
Popped in for a light Sunday lunch , the White Hart did not disappoint! Lovely food and a good range of beer. Very attentive and friendly staff . Sat in the garden which was really pleasant , but the pub has recently been renovated and looks really warm and inviting .
Lovely pub, went boxing day, prices reasonable. Homey, relaxing atmosphere in pub, stayed for hours. All staff were friendly and kind.
This is a traditional pub that serves good food and good beer with a warm welcome and sometimes has classic cars outside. Well worth a visit.
Booked a surprise engagement meal at The White Hart - they quickly accommodated a booking for 16 adults, 4 children and a baby high chair. Very streamlined booking system and no deposit taken unless no show. Service very good and food was lovely, we sat in the conservatory so, as a big party, didn’t feel squashed in and didn’t feel as though we were disturbing other diners. Thank you for a lovely evening!
Lovely country pub with a hearty menu. Also sat in one of the outdoor pods, and loved it.
Brilliant pub. Great atmosphere. Amazing pub garden. We stayed there in a lovely room. Really nice staff and a great welcome. Beer festival was well stocked. Thoroughly recommended
First visit since pandemic. Excellent and definitely back to its former glory. Great food, great beers & wine choices, and really friendly staff. Will be back again soon.
