Yes. Just yes. Cosy, comfortable amazing pub! Huge range of ales, scrummy food and wood burning fires!!! Dogs are welcome, and I love that in a pub, everyone was chilled out and enjoying themselves. No drama and a happy tummy, I can be fussy with drink but no complaints here! Here's to more visits in the awesome and semi secluded gem!
Excellent refurbishment. Good beer and food. Dogs allowed in bar on left. Tables you can sit at not all reserved by people who don't turn up. About an hour's wander through the footpaths from Ingatestone station.
Lovely renovated country pub in the heat of some local woods, perfect for a pint before and/or after a walk. Food is good although could be improved with a booking system.
not been here for a while. lovely pint of jake the snake. and we both had fish and chips. the best I've had for a long time. Will be back soon

Awesome quality pub love the décor and you cannot beat a fireplace on a chilly day full of atmosphere very cosy and most importantly the beer on tap is top notch on a back drop of the woods it's a really nice popular pub and polite staff shall definitely be back
