Went for a roast after visiting Lilleys cider farm, was made to feel very welcome and the food was lovely, will definitely revisit.
Great country pub, with great food. In fact proper good quality tasty well cooked food. Couldn’t fault it, just how it should be. Friendly and welcoming staff. A good honest pub, well worth a visit
Very good food . Nice and charming. But for a better experience in the winter it could of been warmer and the fire was on for a great visit! But still fantastic food
Wow, such a great find today to come across The White Hart. We just happened to be passing by, gave a call to see if they were serving food and could manage a table for two. Absolutely no problem at all and 2 minutes later we were sat in a beautiful old pub with a great wood burner on the go. There's a great feel to The White Hart and the owners were great! Also, they are fully Covid aware there and you certainly feel in safe hands. We can't wait to come back.
Very good pub food, simple, relaxed and a great place to unwind for the evening. Working hard to keep customers safe with their systems in place too!
Really impressed with the food, couldn’t fault it! Friendly staff and great value for money! Will definitely visit again!
Right from when we got in service was outstanding. Very friendly and welcoming barman. Food was amazing, both how presented, portions and taste complements to the chef. Great atmosphere, especially with the open fire. 100% will be going their again!
A lovely quintessential English pub/restaurant offering a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. The food is extraordinarily good and great value for money, especially considering the excellent quality and generosity of portions. Sam’s “bbq feast” platters are amazing and his new starter option of pulled pork quesadillas are just SO delicious. His Sunday roasts are the best ever too! The White Hart is great for locals and visitors alike. It’s ideal for a lovely meal for two, yet is also family friendly and can also cater for larger groups or functions. The menu is very varied catering for all tastes; and the helpful staff will make changes, should anyone want that, wherever possible. This hidden gem, slightly off the beaten track, is well worth a visit.
we had the potato and cheese and onion pie with mash, best pie ever cheesy creamy just divine! The pimms with lemonade literally came with a fruit salad, so delicious and perfect for that hot weather
We were staying at the Premiere Inn just outside Frome. After visiting Longleat for the day we booked in here. Lovely local pub, great atmosphere and wonderful food. Two of the party of nine were vegan and had good choices. The home made pies went down really well. Would recommend booking ahead as even on a Monday night it was busy.
