If you liked Faulty Towers this is the place for you. Comfortable with good food. Warm welcome.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay although it may not be to everyone's taste. If you want character and history, this is the place. Excellent restaurant with well cooked and presented dishes. Best baked camembert I've had to date and sirloin steak that's actually medium rare, as requested. Very nice full English breakfast. Good selection of local ales and various lagers etc. Staff are friendly and cheerful, the place exudes character. Loved it and will revisit. Local area is very picturesque with a host of places to visit. Something for everyone.
