Amazing hospitality and service at the dog and partridge for our couple of nights stay for a wedding at wellington barn, rooms were lovely and clean and the price was amazing, Louise behind the bar went above and beyond and even offered to pick us up from the wedding due to the taxis not being great in the area, she was amazing and we had a lovely few hours in the pub area talking with others too! A warm hospitable intimate atmosphere for our short stay, there’s also a kebab van outside for food which was enough for us, thanks so much!! :
We stayed for one night mid week. They only serve food att weekends so we went into town to eat. Got back at about 20:50 to have a drink before going back to the room and the bar was closed! Room was good and staff friendly though.
Gravelled carpark. Large pub just off the island/ring road. Accommodation is a separate block at the back of the pub. Very comfortable room with large bed and tea making facilities. Dinner is served from 6 pm until 8 pm. The menu has no starters and doesn't state vegetarian meals, but they do have some you just need to ask. The surroundings are very nice and the staff friendly. Would certainly return.

Just want to thank the two bar ladies who were very friendly and happy they made the stay much more enjoyable Sorry really bad at remembering names Will definitely be going back again at some point!
