Gravelled carpark. Large pub just off the island/ring road. Accommodation is a separate block at the back of the pub. Very comfortable room with large bed and tea making facilities. Dinner is served from 6 pm until 8 pm. The menu has no starters and doesn't state vegetarian meals, but they do have some you just need to ask. The surroundings are very nice and the staff friendly. Would certainly return.
We stayed here for 2 nights as well as spent a couple evenings in the Pub. Definitely has a much better name and appearance now than what comes up on the GPS. The front bar is exactly as you expect village pubs, great atmosphere. We were here on a quiet night an England football night, both great. We did not eat but they do a limited restaurant menu and breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday for £10 Rooms out back were nice and comfortable and reasonably priced for what we needed.
Food was nice but a very limited choice of only 3 main courses on a Saturday night. Seemingly no vegan options. Also a long wait taking nearly an hour in a nearly empty house.
Really enjoyed the stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely surroundings with a massive garden. Nice roomy car park. Access to the rooms is excellent. Rooms a good size. All in all a good place to stay. I will be going back.
stayed in room 1. No breakfast option when staying but recommended a decent cafe down the road. Wifi was intimitent, 20mb/s to 0 meaning Youtube/gaming wasnt possible.nnNice pint of guiness
