Fantastic! Went yesterday for a drink and booked in for Sunday lunch today. Service was great but, the food was even better. Good value for money, will definitely be back... don't miss it.
Freddy makes sure everyone walking through the door receives a warm welcome, friendly service and the most amazing roast dinner! We love to visit this Wiltshire gem and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a classic British country pub.
What a lovely pub this is, great cider and a good selection of beers . The landlord was a happy cheerful man. The food looked good although we only had drinks. Plenty of seating available inside and out. We shall go again.
Fantastic ! Had Sunday roast, the beef was amazing, probably only need a small or medium portion but brilliant whatever, landlord also looks like Tobias Menzies, lovely
We’ve just returned from a Fathers Day celebration meal at The Ivy, well it was incredible! Our food which we ordered a mixed selection was piping hot, beautifully presented and plentiful, we couldn’t finish it. The Sunday roast came with an array of fresh vegetable, the meat was beautifully tender, absolutely scrummy. We were made to feel as welcome as you would an old friend and our dog was treated to treats and lots of cuddles by the lovely staff who could not do enough for us. And for all this luxury service you’d expect a large bill at the end but no, it was incredibly reasonable and well worth the money we paid, In short go and visit, find out for yourself we’ll see you there, it’s not local to us but it is now our go to pub. Thanks guys 10/10
The friendliest country pub. The Sunday roast is just divine. Literally we have travelled the UK and this was by fat the best Sunday roast we have ever had. The roast potatoes were on another level. Iv literally just eaten mine and went large and my mouth is salivating writing this review. 100% recommended
Huge portions of the most amazing roast dinner ive ever had ... fabulous service too
Comfortable country pub, friendly staff, welcoming, cosy, real log fire, food is delicious and really generous portions. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
My dad was 80 the other week and we wanted to take him with some friends to play darts. The pub couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful and the food was fantastic. We had a great time! Hadn’t been to this pub in years and it’s still as lovely and quaint as it ever was and definitely worth a visit!
Nice to see this back and doing well Friendly landlord, nice beer and good food, few too many chips and my chicken burger could have been a bit thicker. Beef burger looked fab Will go back
